Analysis and Recommendation:

The AUD/USD declined a few pips as it is resting after powering above the 1.05 price level and then losing momentum.

The HSBC PMI data from China continues to weigh on the markets, yesterday’s release showed that manufacturing slipped more than expected lower than the previous months and that all the government’s efforts to increase production is not working as of yet.

The Chinese Premier and the PBoC indicate that they are considering a massive stimulus package to jumpstart the economy, the question is more when then if.

At present the negative data weighs on the Aussie although the Aussie will be a major benefactor of stimulus from the US and China.
