Analysis and Recommendations:

Silver is in a holding pattern at 34.763. Precious metals were directionless today, while market sentiments were caught between the uncertainty over the global economic slowdown on one hand and the monetary easing by the leading central banks on the other. Commodities showed a mixed trend. Precious metals were seen inching higher after trading mostly steady during the morning trades while crude oil and base metals slipped as manufacturing data from the Euro Zone and Asia were unattractive. Except for nickel, base metals in LME moved to a negative territory. Weak data from China continued to weigh on industrial metals.
