Analysis and Recommendation:

The USD/JPY is trading this morning at 78.79 as the greenback has finally been able to gather some momentum against the yen. As markets look for higher risk assets, the JPY is losing its appeal. Traders will slowly begin to look at the underlying negative eco data from Japan.

With a very strong retail sales release in the US followed by positive CPI numbers, the odds that the Fed will offer stimulus has declined.

Markets are waiting on US housing data and unemployment solid numbers here could help push the USD back towards the 80.00 price level
