Analysis and Recommendations:

The EUR/GBP rebounded on Wednesday after early weakness. The catalyst behind the rally was weaker equity markets. Earlier in the session, the EUR/GBP was under pressure because of a stronger than expected UK Markit Services PMI report.

The report showed that the U.K.’s service sector posted a solid gain in January, coming in at 55.6 versus an estimate of 55.3.

Trading volume was light ahead of the release of the latest monetary policy statement by the Bank of England.
