SKY is a governance token, which is like a digital voting share, for Sky Protocol. This system launched in 2024 as a rebrand and upgrade of the older Maker Protocol. Sky Protocol’s main value lies in giving users a simple, secure way to trade, save, and earn rewards without ever giving up control of their funds. It is built around a stablecoin called USDS, which is always worth one US dollar, but it is completely decentralized.

The protocol is run by automated agreements called smart contracts, so there’s no middleman controlling users' money. The system uses two main tokens: USDS for stable savings, and SKY for community governance. users can help secure the network and earn rewards by staking their SKY tokens in the Staking Engine, which is like locking them in an interest-bearing account to help the system run. The protocol also uses SkyLink to seamlessly connect users' funds across different blockchains for faster and cheaper transactions.

The Sky Protocol is unique because it has no single CEO or traditional core team of investors; instead, it is managed entirely by its global community of SKY token holders. This decentralized setup means that SKY is primarily used for two core utilities: it grants essential voting power to decide on all major system changes, and it can be staked in the Staking Engine to help secure the network and earn rewards. Staking also provides holders with the ability to borrow the USDS stablecoin, making SKY the essential key for both governance and income generation within the ecosystem.

The chips at the top show the current signal on each one. Day traders usually work on 15min to 1H, swing traders on 4H to Daily, longer-term traders on Daily to Weekly. Every number on this page recalculates when you change it.

Pick a timeframe.

The centre gauge combines 22 indicators into one Buy, Sell or Neutral reading. The two gauges beside it show what is driving that: Oscillators measure momentum, Moving Averages measure trend.

Read the headline rating.

A Buy on the daily carries more weight when the weekly agrees with it. When the short and long timeframes point different ways, the market is usually pausing rather than turning.

A Buy on the daily means more when the weekly agrees with it. When the short and long timeframes point different ways, the market is usually pausing rather than turning.

Check whether the timeframes agree.

Pivot points mark where price has tended to stall. Traders use them to decide where to enter, where to take profit and where to place a stop.

Use the levels.

The tables lower down show every indicator behind the rating. The small i beside each one explains what it measures and how to read it.

Go into the detail if you want it.

Why you can trust this list

Traders have relied on our independent testing for over a decade.

An editor re-checks licenses, spreads and fees against our test data.

Our editors choose brokers that meet this page's criteria and impressed us in testing. The list is not in score order. Brokers pay to appear on our site, which can affect which brokers we feature and where. No broker can pay to change a score or a verdict.

One published scoring system, with 9 weighted categories and 250+ variables, all measured hands-on by our analysts.

We test leading brokers the same way, so we can compare them fairly.
