The interest rate markets continue to cause the other markets to move. Thursday is showing signs of risk appetite improving, at least for the moment.

Ethereum performances have been disappointing recently, weighed down by weaker momentum following a failed breakout. Prices have fallen below major support levels, leaving investors wondering whether the trend can stabilise in the near term. While the longer-term outlook may still be intact, current conditions hint at a risk-averse environment.

The Fed held rates at 3.50–3.75% amid Hormuz-driven inflation fears, keeping the dollar firm while EUR/USD and GBP/USD test key trendline supports.

War shock reshapes central-bank calculus: downside for growth, upside for inflation, making precautionary rate increases more likely in the coming months. As for today, the ECB and Bank of England are seen keeping rates unchanged.

Central banks bought 244 tonnes of gold in early 2026 as silver faces its 6th deficit year, while XAU rebounds at $4,534 Fib with $4,800 in sight.

The Strait of Hormuz crisis has drained 850M barrels, pushing WTI to $107 and Brent eyeing $115, while Natural Gas bears target $2.46.

Oil prices could move toward $200 if the Persian Gulf supply shock deepens, while rising energy costs and weaker freight activity raise inflation and recession risks across the real economy.

Market conditions in South Korea are supported by positive factors. Demand for AI-related memory products has increased, the won has strengthened, and the market has shown positive momentum.
