The interest rate markets continue to drive just about everything at the moment, as they are showing concerns about energy inflation.

Ethereum enters May under pressure as technical resistance, oil-driven macro risks, and weak derivatives demand raise the risk of a deeper ETH pullback.

In the equities space, Apple (AAPL) delivered results that I think broadly reassured a market that needed reassurance from the top of the Magnificent 7.

DXY stalls below 99 trendline resistance as GBP/USD breaks above 1.3580 targeting 1.3720, while EUR/USD bounces off trendline support toward the 1.1800 level.

Gold stabilises above the 0.382 Fib at $4,532 with bulls targeting $4,800, while silver struggles below $75 resistance as bears eye the $71.20–$69 support zone.

Hormuz disruptions keep Brent elevated near $112 targeting $119, while WTI holds $103 support and NatGas struggles to clear bearish channel resistance at $2.83.

Gold remains supported by fiscal deficits, sticky inflation, and weaker S&P 500-to-gold ratio signals, but a stronger U.S. dollar or higher yields could delay the next upside move.

Crude oil tests resistance after nine-day rally while analysts lift forecasts, pointing to a stronger price floor and a critical near-term turning point.

Ethereum performances have been disappointing recently, weighed down by weaker momentum following a failed breakout. Prices have fallen below major support levels, leaving investors wondering whether the trend can stabilise in the near term. While the longer-term outlook may still be intact, current conditions hint at a risk-averse environment.
