As has been the case for a while, I am paying close attention to the 10-year note in the United States, as rate pressures continue to be a big factor.

US 10-Year Yield, USD/MXN, NVDA and BTC/USD Forecasts – Rate Start to Drift Higher on Thursday

Oil prices face a ceasefire-driven pullback, but Hormuz attacks, Saudi strikes and tight shipping keep Brent supported while WTI watches the $91.21 pivot today.

Gold and silver recover ahead of US CPI, but a strong dollar and December Fed rate hike risks could limit further gains.

Natural gas futures rose on Hurricane Isaias shut-ins, but warm weather, high storage and rising output keep the November rally contained.

Silver’s rebound faces dollar pressure ahead of US CPI. A break above $65 could open the way towards $72.

Silver bounced from $58.50 as gold, softer yields and a retreating dollar brought in buyers, but $60.835 remains the level that decides the next move.

The October 14 CPI report could shape December Fed rate hike expectations as EUR/USD approaches the key support zone at 1.11–1.12.
