USD/JPY eyes ¥159 resistance, USD/CHF retains a buy-on-dips outlook, and AUD/USD faces selling pressure after weak Australian employment data.

US02Y

U.S. two-year Treasury yield daily candlestick chart showing a pullback toward 4.75% after a strong September rally, remaining above both moving averages.
U.S. two-year Treasury yield daily chart showing consolidation near 4.75%, above the red moving average at 4.60% and the blue moving average at 4.17%.

I start today by looking at the 2-year yield, as usual. The 2-year yield begins the Monday session with a softer recent trajectory, but there is persistent inflation pressure here. The latest par yield estimate was 4.74% on Friday, down 3 basis points from Thursday and 6 from the previous Friday.
