EUR/USD, USD/JPY and Nasdaq: Yields Drive the Market Setup

U.S. yields remain in focus as EUR/USD attempts a rebound, USD/JPY holds its carry-trade appeal and the Nasdaq 100 forms a potential bullish flag.

The 2-year yield has been more or less stabilizing in the United States, right around 4.88%. I’m watching this very closely because yields have been a big driver of where we are going in general. With that, rising yields tend to strengthen the dollar, while falling yields tend to weaken it. We are a little stretched here. We can see it in some pairs as well, that perhaps a little bit of relief might be in store.
