The ‘I love reading’ Project, Indonesia

The ‘I love reading’ project promotes reading skills among primary school students in Indonesia, targeting one of the country’s pressing issues: low literacy levels. The project’s overarching goal is to improve the children’s literacy level across the country.

To support this venture, Octa sponsored the ‘Literacy festival’, a series of activities that wrapped up the previous batch of work within the project. With more than 300 participants, the festival aimed to ensure that more Indonesian children could learn to read fluently and develop a love for reading as a result of the project.

Bali Water Protection Project, Indonesia

Aimed at resolving Bali’s ongoing water crisis, the Bali Water Protection project is designed to raise awareness and promote actionable solutions to the rapid deterioration of the province’s freshwater supply.
