Giacomo Barisone is Head of Fundamental Credit Ratings and Research and oversees Scope’s sovereign and public sector, corporate and financial institutions activities. He has over twenty years’ experience in sovereign risk and public sector analysis across both advanced and emerging market economies. Giacomo has held both management and analytical roles covering global sovereigns and supranational issuers at Morningstar-DBRS, UBS Investment Bank and Moody’s. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Exeter (UK) and a Master’s in Economics from the University of Glasgow (UK).
