Fortissio categorizes clients as either “Professional” or “Retail” clients. Organized businesses, government establishments and investment firms are categorized as professional clients. Anyone who wishes to trade forex as an individual is a retail client. But, on request and subject to meeting certain criteria you can apply for professional client status, however you must meet 2 of the following 3 criteria: must have 10 significantly sized transactions per quarter over the last four quarters, have a financial instrument portfolio, larger than €500,000, or have worked in a professional position in the financial sector requiring knowledge of trading leveraged products for a minimum of a year.
Retail clients trade with a maximum leverage of 1:30 while Professional traders can trade with a maximum leverage of up to 1:200.
The account types are categorized according to investors’ capital. The following retail account types are available:
Basic Account: A minimum opening balance of $100 is required to open this account. The maximum amount is $1,999. This account comes with a free e-book, free training, webinars and a personal account manager.
Discovery Account: The minimum and maximum account opening capital is $2,000 – $4,999. Account holders get rollover discount of 5%, price discount of 5%, position loss coverage of 20%, in addition to all the benefits enjoyed by the Basic account holders.
Silver Account: The account opening balances range from $5,000 to $9,999. The price discount and rollover discount is 10%, position loss coverage is 25% and analysis from trading central is provided for a month.
Gold Account: The opening account balance is $10,000 – $14,900. Price discount and rollover discount are at 15%. Position loss coverage is 30%. Access to trading central analysis is for two months.
Diamond Account: The opening balance is from $15,000 to $29,999. The price discount and rollover discount is at 20%. The position loss coverage is 35% and 3 months access to Trading central is provided.
VIP Account: The minimum account balance for this account is $30,000. There are no upper limits. The price discount and rollover discount is 25%. 4 months access to Trading central is available and the Position loss coverage is 40%.
