BNB (BNB) is tightening inside a bullish continuation pattern just as a cryptic post from Binance co-founder Changpeng “CZ” Zhao has injected fresh speculation into the market.
BNB Bull Flag Breakout Could Target $840
BNB was trading near $766 on Oct. 1, consolidating after a strong September advance that carried the token from roughly $700 to an intra-month high near $800.
The pullback has developed inside a short-term descending channel, resembling a classic bull flag on the daily chart. Such patterns typically form when traders take profits after a sharp rally before the broader uptrend attempts to resume.

A decisive daily breakout above the flag’s upper trendline, currently around $775-$780, could confirm the continuation setup. The measured move points toward roughly $840, representing an advance of about 10% from current levels.
Also, BNB is currently holding near its 20-day exponential moving average (20-day EMA, green) at approximately $757.50, while remaining well above the 50-day EMA (red) near $718. That keeps the broader short-term trend tilted upward despite the recent sideways-to-lower price action.
Conversely, a deeper breakdown below the flag’s lower boundary near $740 would weaken the bullish structure and could expose the 50-day EMA as the next major support.
CZ’s “Soon” Post Fuels BNB Rally Speculation
The technical setup has gained attention after CZ posted a green-toned image of himself on Sept. 29 accompanied by a single word: “Soon…”
The post contained no explicit reference to BNB, Bitcoin, a product launch, or a price target.

Nevertheless, traders quickly interpreted the green image and deliberately vague caption as a possible hint that a bullish crypto-market development was approaching.
The speculation intensified after Fundstrat’s Tom Lee reposted CZ’s message and wrote, “Agree. Do you own enough crypto?”, adding another bullish interpretation to an otherwise ambiguous post.
CZ has not confirmed that “Soon” refers to BNB or any forthcoming announcement. For now, the $775-$780 breakout zone, rather than social-media speculation, remains the clearest technical trigger for a move toward $840.
$794 Liquidity Magnet Could Trigger BNB Short Squeeze
BNB’s liquidation map shows a major liquidity cluster near $794, where CoinGlass estimates roughly $20.34 million in cumulative short liquidation leverage.

That makes the $790-$795 zone a potential price magnet. A breakout above nearby resistance could force shorts to cover, adding buying pressure and accelerating the move.
If BNB clears $795, additional liquidity around $800-$815 could extend the squeeze, opening the door toward the broader $800-$850 area, including the bull-flag target near $840.
