MINA is one of the top-performing cryptocurrencies in the market at the moment, rising by more than 50% over the past to cross the $6 level for the first time in months.

The cryptocurrency market has been performing excellently in recent weeks but one of the top performers over the past few hours is Mina.

Mina Rallies by 50%

Mina has been one of the best performing cryptocurrencies in the market over the past 24 hours. The coin has rallied by more than 50% over the last 24 hours, surpassing the performance of other leading cryptocurrencies.

Mina is called the “succinct blockchain.” This is because it is a blockchain so short that it can fit in a few tweets. It uses the zk-SNAKS technology, making it one of the simplest blockchains to use.

The coin has been rallying since the Mina Foundation’s CEO, Evan Shapiro, gave an interview at the 2021 Digital Currency Summit earlier this week. From the coin’s performance, we can assume that the interview went well because Mina’s price has surged by more than 50% since then.

The Mina development team also announced its partnership with ZK Hack yesterday. It is a seven-week virtual event featuring weekly workshops and advanced puzzle solving competitions. As a result, MINA has been rallying and could surge higher over the coming hours.

MINA Could Reach $6.5 Soon

At the time of writing, MINA is up by 50% over the past 24 hours and is trading at $6.03 per coin. Despite its recent rally, MINA is still down by 31% from the all-time high of $9.09 it achieved in June this year.

MINA’s technical indicators are positive as both the MACD and RSI data shows that the cryptocurrency is currently in a bullish trend. If the rally continues, then MINA could touch the $6.5 level over the coming hours.

However, MINA could need the support of the broader cryptocurrency market to rally higher over the next few hours and days. The biggest driver for Mina at the moment would be the influx of applications using Mina’s platform.
