Uniswap (UNI) has now jumped by 48% in the past 30 days and is now the top-performing asset in the top 30 during this period as the launch of its decentralized exchange (DEX) on the Robinhood Chain keeps yielding positive results.
Yesterday’s 2% move managed to push the token above the 200-day exponential moving average (EMA) for the first time since November 2025. This is a widely followed technical indicator that is used to determine the direction of an asset’s price trend.
In addition, UNI just crossed above the $4 level, which is also a psychological price zone that, if broken, could mark the beginning of a strong uptrend.
We have been arguing that the crypto market is showing signs of an early recovery from its bear market, but it is still missing a catalyst that manages to push prices past key resistances.
In Uniswap’s case, a project-specific driver like higher fees coming from the use of the protocol within the Robinhood Chain could be what the market needs to push this token to higher levels.
We have already seen a handful of tokens like Hyperliquid (HYPE), another TradFi giant, defy the market’s gravity. The latter has seen its price increase by 110% in 2026, and UNI could follow its footsteps if positive momentum accelerates.
Earlier this week, Uniswap reported that it had reached $10 billion in total volumes processed within the Robinhood Chain.
Currently, it is the second-largest decentralized app in this blockchain’s ecosystem with 1.6 million monthly active users (MAUs) and the leading force in collected fees, with $28.1 million billed in the past 30 days alone.
As a result, DEX volumes are about to close July with a 24% jump at $52 billion, while fees will also close the month at their highest level since October 2025 at $94 million, representing a 114% jump compared to the previous month.
DEX volumes have now been on an uptrend for two months in a row, indicating higher usage despite the market’s many headwinds.
Heading to the daily chart, we can see that UNI’s rally started right after it broke a key trend line resistance.
Positive momentum has accelerated once again, even though we flagged a bearish divergence in the Relative Strength Index (RSI) in our latest Uniswap price prediction article.
Trading volumes rose above the 14-day moving average following a break above the 200-day EMA, confirming the indicator’s technical relevance. Meanwhile, today’s volumes stand at $270 million, accounting for over 10% of the asset’s circulating market cap, which also indicates rising buying pressure.
We now need a clean breakout above the $4.2 level, as this has been a strong supply zone for UNI in the past. If the price breaks past that mark, it is highly likely that it will trigger a short squeeze.
In that scenario, we could see UNI rising to $4.9 first and $6.3, meaning a 54% upside potential.
