Hungary recorded a trade surplus of EUR 578 million in July 2025, shifting from a deficit of EUR 11 million in the same month a year ago, as exports rose while imports fell. Year-on-year, exports grew by 1.7% to EUR 12,035 million, while imports decreased by 3.3% to EUR 11,457 million. Considering the first seven months of the year, the country’s trade surplus rose to EUR 7,451 million from EUR 6,029 million in the same period last year.
