Slovenia Tourist Arrivals

Tourist arrivals in Slovenia dropped 9.5% year-on-year to 305,403 in March 2025, following a 1.4% fall in the previous month. This marked the second consecutive month of decline, as the number of foreign tourists shrank by 14.4% to 195,356, while domestic arrivals went up 0.9% to 110,047. Foreign visitors decreased from Germany (-33.5%), Austria (-17.7%), and Italy (-7%), while it rose from Serbia (15.6%) and Croatia (2%). Meanwhile, Slovenia saw 768,327 overnight stays in March, marking an 8.7% drop compared to a year earlier. The highest number of tourists overnight stays was recorded in health spa resorts (29.7% of the total), the capital (18%), and mountain resorts (17.6%).
