Slovenia Tourist Arrivals

Tourist arrivals in Slovenia rose by 3.5% year-on-year to 617,444 in May 2025, easing from a 22.5% surge in the previous month. The number of foreign tourist arrivals increased by 3.5% to 1,439,583, while domestic arrivals grew at the same pace to 565,500. Most foreign visitors came from Italy (+55.2%), Croatia (+33%), and the US (+11%), while arrivals declined from Germany (-27.3%) and Austria (-2.7%). Meanwhile, overnight stays rose by 2.9% to 1,435,422, with the highest numbers recorded in urban municipalities (+9.3%), the capital (+5.7%), health resort communities (+3.2%), and coastal municipalities (+0.8%).
