The general business activity index published by the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas rose to -2.3 in November of 2025 from the five-month low of -9.4 in the previous month, reflecting the softest decline in the district's services activity since August. The index measuring revenues for service providers rose to -2.5 from -6.4. In the meantime, employment rebounded to 3.1 from -4.8, as wages and benefits increased at a faster rate (14.7 vs 10.7). In turn, input prices soared (27.6 vs 23), driving selling prices to accelerate (6.5 vs 4.6). Looking forward, the outlook index rose to -4.2 vs -10.
