This is the Economic Calendar for Munday, the 4th of December. Let’s see which news releases stand out. Japanese Consumer Confidence for November is up first at 5 AM. Confidence continued growing in October, reaching a 4-year high. UK Construction PMI for November follows at 9:30.

The Index rebounded in October, having slipped into the negative territory the previous month. Euro Zone October Producer Price Index is out at 10. September data surprised on the upside as the Index saw its strongest growth in 9 months. Coming up next at 3 PM GMT is the US Factory Orders for October. Orders picked up speed in September, following a 1.2% gain a month ago. Australian Performance of Service Index for November will be available at half past 10 in the evening. The Index has been declining for the past 3 months, but it does remain in the positive territory. Australian Retail Sales for October follow at half past midnight. Sales stood unchanged in September, following two months of decline. Japanese Services PMI for November is out at the same time. The Index jumped by 2.4 points in October, driven by a strong gain in new orders. Chinese Caixin Services PMI for November comes at 1:45. The services sector grew at a faster pace in October, having stood just a fraction in the green a month ago. And Reserve Bank of Australia will release its latest interest rate announcement at half past 3, which is a high importance event for all the Aussie Dollar Traders. The previous release brought no changes to the monetary policy, and no rate hikes are expected this time around.
