Any broker can offer a platform. Tradeview built the engine
October 6, 2026 – Tradeview Markets has switched on the EDGE Instant Liquidity Connector, the proprietary execution engine Tradeview designed, built and runs itself. Millions invested and years in the making, EDGE sits behind MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 and does one job relentlessly: it fights for the fill.
“You need an engine behind the platform.”
Tim Furey, Founder & CEO, Tradeview Markets
Inside a trade, in under a millisecond
A trader hits buy on EURUSD.edge. EDGE is already working. It has been scanning multiple top-tier liquidity providers in milliseconds, holding a live view of raw, unmarked pricing and streaming the best bid and offer to the screen.
If the order is large, the engine slices it into smaller pieces and routes them surgically across several providers through Tradeview’s proprietary matching engine and proprietary FIX connectivity. The fills come back together at the best available price. If volatility spikes mid-trade, a real-time AI decision engine adapts the routing on the fly. Liquidity providers don’t get to wander past what the market justifies, and if the market moves the trader’s way, the positive slippage is theirs to keep.
Split. Route. Aggregate. Protect the fill.
It all runs from Tradeview’s servers in the LD4 data centre in London, wired by fibre straight to its liquidity partners. For automated and algorithmic traders who feel every fraction of slippage on the way in and the way out, that’s the difference between a strategy that works on paper and one that works live.
Real prices. Real fills. No spread theater.
A razor-thin spread looks great in a screenshot and means nothing if it disappears the moment real size hits the market. EDGE takes the opposite approach. Pricing comes raw from the liquidity providers themselves, so the price a trader sees is the market’s, not a desk’s cut of it. EDGE prices what traders can actually trade, and shows them exactly what they paid.
Look for the .edge
EDGE doesn’t ask anyone to learn anything new. It lives inside MT4 and MT5 on desktop, web and mobile, on the same pairs traders already know, now marked with a .edge suffix. Same pairs, different infrastructure: if the symbol carries .edge, it’s running on the engine. If it doesn’t, it isn’t.
No .edge, no EDGE.
Built for traders who stay
EDGE is built for active forex and metals traders who count every pip, automated traders running expert advisors, and traders who size up and need liquidity from more than one source. There’s no bonus attached, and that’s on purpose. Tradeview would rather earn a trader with fills than buy one with an offer.
“We don’t buy balances. We build clients.”
Tim Furey
A broker that builds its own engine
Tradeview doesn’t rent its plumbing. Alongside EDGE, it builds its own bridge and middleware connecting trading platforms to liquidity providers. That habit goes back to day one: Tim Furey opened Tradeview in 2004 in a small Wall Street office. Twenty-two years later the firm has nearly 200 people and more than 1,000 instruments across six asset classes, and it is still founder-led and fully independent.
EDGE is live. The engine is running.
Try it once. Client for life.
