Futures prop trading has settled into a familiar set of compromises. Traders who want fast payouts typically accept tighter guardrails: daily loss limits, consistency rules that start in the challenge phase, benchmark day requirements, and recurring monthly fees that add up whether or not a trader is actively in a challenge. Traders who want more room to operate usually give up payout speed, pay higher upfront costs, or both.
FundedNext, one of the leading prop trading firms in the industry, has taken a different approach with its latest futures offering. Rather than building one challenge model that leans toward one end of that tradeoff, the firm has split its new Rapid challenge into two paths, Rapid Pro and Rapid Daily, and lets the trader choose which set of tradeoffs to take on at the point of purchase.
Both paths share the same underlying structure. The challenge phase can be completed in a single trading day with a 1-Day Pass. There are no benchmark day requirements, no activation fees, and no recurring charges. The fee is one-time. Drawdown is calculated end-of-day rather than intraday, which gives traders more room during live sessions. Both paths carry a 90% payout share and are backed by FundedNext’s standing commitment to process payouts within 24 hours or credit the trader an additional $1,000.
Where the paths diverge is in what happens after the challenge.
Rapid Daily is the faster payout path. Traders are eligible for daily payouts with no consistency rule applied at any stage, not during the challenge and not on the funded side. The tradeoff is structure: a daily loss limit applies throughout, and funded-phase payouts are gated by a buffer rule. The withdrawable amount is whatever sits above the buffer threshold, which is defined as the starting balance plus the maximum loss limit plus $100.
Rapid Pro removes more of the guardrails. There is no daily loss limit by default, no buffer rule, and no benchmark days. Payout eligibility is set at every three days rather than daily. The one rule that does apply on the funded side is a 40% consistency threshold, meaning no single trading day’s profit can account for more than 40% of total profit at the time of a payout request. During the challenge phase itself, no consistency rule applies.
The path is locked at checkout and cannot be switched mid-challenge.
The challenge is available in three account sizes: 25K, 50K, and 100K, with one-time fees starting at $79.99 for the 25K tier after a flat 50% launch discount. The 50K comes in at $149.99 and the 100K at $249.99.
In a space where monthly subscriptions and activation fees remain common, the one-time fee model is notable. There are no recurring costs regardless of how long a trader takes to pass the challenge.
Rapid Pro includes an optional daily loss limit add-on at purchase. Opting in brings the price down further, starting at $59.99 for the 25K account. That makes it one of the lowest entry points currently available for a futures challenge that still carries a 90% payout share and no mandatory consistency rule in the evaluation phase. The add-on cannot be added or removed after purchase.
Profit targets are set at $1,500 for the 25K, $3,000 for the 50K, and $5,000 for the 100K. Maximum loss limits are $1,000, $2,000, and $2,500, respectively. For accounts with a daily loss limit (all Rapid Daily accounts and Rapid Pro accounts with the add-on), the daily cap is $500 at the 25K level, $1,000 at 50K, and $1,250 at 100K.
Both paths require a minimum of $500 in profit within the current trading cycle to qualify for a payout. Rapid Pro traders must also meet the 40% consistency threshold. Rapid Daily traders must reach the buffer level before withdrawing. The funded account concludes after the fifth payout on both paths.
The 90% payout share is uniform across both paths and all account sizes, which sits above what most futures prop firms currently offer at comparable price points.
