U.S traders have the 25,000 level in sight for the Dow Jones Industrials. Trading will start today near 24,800 on the Dow.

Golden Mark of 25,000 in Sight for Dow Jones, Congress Likely Voting

Congress is expected to begin voting on the U.S tax reform legislation today. Wall Street’s rally yesterday was helped by the belief investors may be given an early Christmas gift via an approved tax bill. The Dow Jones Industrials is within the vicinity of 24,800, and there is no doubt U.S investors would love to hit the golden mark of 25,000 on the Dow Jones – sooner rather than later.

Japanese Equities Sputter Tuesday, Two Percent Gains Past Month for Nikkei

The Nikkei and Topix Indexes were not able to sustain their momentum today in Japan. However, the Nikkei has still added over 2 percent of value the past month. The All Industries Activity report will come from Japan tomorrow. The Yen has large range traded against the U.S Dollar today.

Business Confidence in Germany Falls, Producer Price Index Wednesday

German Business Climate data released this morning came in slightly below expectations. However, the Euro has put in gains against the U.S Dollar early and is near the 1.18 level. Tomorrow Produce Price Index statistics will come from Germany. Investors will also keep their eyes on Spain as a vote in Catalonia looms on Thursday.

Gold Pressing against Resistance, Traders Taking a Double Look

Gold has proven stable this morning and added slight value as it presses up against important resistance. The precious metal is near 1264.00 U.S Dollars an ounce and will get a lot of double looks from nervous traders who have attempted buying positions recently and gotten hurt.

Housing Data Parade from States, German Inflation Numbers Tomorrow

U.S traders will get additional housing figures today, and the Building Permits data will be the highlight when they are released at 13:30 GMT.
