LeBron James Partners With Crypto.com Exchange

Education is essential in all areas of our lives. There are times when misinformation can lead us to make bad decisions, especially in the crypto world.

The LeBron James Family Foundation teamed up with Crypto.com exchange so the kids in the I PROMISE program in Akron, Ohio can learn about blockchain, metaverse, and crypto in general.

The Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James commented:

“Blockchain technology is revolutionizing our economy, sports and entertainment, the art world, and how we engage with one another. I want to ensure that communities like the one I come from are not left behind.”

Students’ families can also participate in the new learning program. He wants Akron, the city where he grew up, to be educated on this new crypto ecosystem.

Crypto.com Is Focusing on the Sports Industry

The cryptocurrency exchange, which bought Staples Center’s naming rights in November 2021, has shown that they truly believe in the sports industry to get a crypto global adoption.

One of the latest partnerships was with the Australian Football League. Also, last month Crypto.com bought a commercial ad on the upcoming NFL Super Bowl game hosted on February 13 and partnered with U.S women’s football team Angel City FC.

The cryptocurrency exchange is also teamed up with the NBA team Philadelphia 76ers and in other sports like Formula 1 and UFC.

The LeBron James Family Foundation has the I PROMISE Program, through which more than 1,500 students and their families are given support to succeed in school and future projects.

In 2018, the Foundation partnered with Akron Public Schools in order to create a new education model in the I PROGRAM school. 

As crypto adoption continues, it is not surprising that more crypto education will take place in the coming years.
