There has been a cloud of mystery behind Satoshi Nakamoto, the man or organization that set the cryptocurrency ball rolling and the media had given up on uncovering the real identity. However, those hopes have been revived this week following rumors that Satoshi is writing a book.

Is Satoshi really the author of the 21-page release?

Newly published material said to be written by Satoshi has caused the resurgence of talk about the Bitcoin (BTC) creator. The material was revealed on Friday and is said to have a 21-page preview of a book that Satoshi is reportedly working on. The preview was published anonymously through Amazon’s domain registrar.

One of the reasons why the publication has caused quite a stir in the cryptocurrency world is that Satoshi has remained silent and hidden in anonymity for the past few years. It is also interesting that such a publication claimed to be written by Satoshi comes at a time when cryptocurrency prices have not been doing so well, including Bitcoin. Analysts are therefore curious as to how the return of Satoshi could influence the digital currency market.

Some theorize that the return of the Bitcoin founder into the fold would not necessarily be a good thing because he would likely be attacked and criticized over the shortcomings of the cryptocurrency. This includes mining centralization and scaling on the blockchain network which is said to be one of the weaknesses of the platform. Some market experts hope that the return of Satoshi would lead to an improved performance of Bitcoin and perhaps he will even bring some new solutions to overcome some of the currently existing problems.

Is Satoshi really the author of the 21-page release?

Some critics do not believe that the recent publication is from Satoshi. After all, this would not be the first time that individuals have falsely claimed to be Satoshi. However, on the off chance that it is indeed from the Bitcoin founder, it could offer a sneak peek into the early development of Bitcoin and as well as the source of the inspiration for blockchain.

“The principles for bitcoin originated from the cypherpunks, a community I naturally gravitated to as a fourteen-year-old, a place where anonymity was as fundamental as breathing, where in order for genuine freedom of speech to exist in an open society one had to be able to fully and anonymously express themselves,” the book preview reads.

Some of the experts in the cryptocurrency community are not convinced that the new release was written by Satoshi because it has a different writing style compared to his previous content. Although the publication contains interesting content, experts have refused to believe that it is Satoshi’s content until he signs a message using one of the original keys that were used in Nakamoto’s previous publications.

It is easy to see why the cryptocurrency community would be so keen on the legitimacy of the newly published content. The resurgence of the Bitcoin founder can result in potentially massive changes in the digital currency market, thus the sensitivity of the matter.
