Full trading will return to global markets today after holidays were celebrated in Japan, the U.S, and Canada on Monday. Fed member Kashkari will be speaking today. The U.K will present its Manufacturing Production numbers also.

Wall Street Braces as Earnings Loom, Fed Member Kashkari Speaking

Wall Street turned in a cautious day of trading on light trading and as third-quarter earnings loom. The U.S Dollar did see its strength recede slightly on Monday. Today Federal Reserve member Kashkari will be speaking, and tomorrow the Fed’s Meeting Minutes will be published. President Trump’s tax reform package remains a big talking point among investors as Wall Street’s record heights are contemplated.

Full Market Action in Asia, Nikkei Index Continues its Winning Streak

Full market action has returned to Asia as investors from China and Japan are participating. The Nikkei Index has continued to add value early this morning and the Yen has remained in a consolidated mode. Current Account data from Japan published today was positive showing exports have increased. Tomorrow Machine Tool Orders figures will come from Japan.

Euro and Pound Add Value, Solid German Industrial Statistics

The Euro and Pound gained against the U.S Dollar on Monday. Prime Minister Theresa May of the U.K yesterday insisted Brexit success will be important for both the U.K and the European Union. Manufacturing Production numbers will come from the Britain today. And data from Germany showed improvements via its Industrial statistics yesterday, while the Dax Index posted slight gains.

Gold Finds Steady Base of Buyers, Two Days of Gains for Gold

Gold has found a steady base of buying the last two trading sessions and is near 1286.00 U.S Dollars an ounce. The precious metal’s short-term gains will get the attention of traders today as full market volumes return and a look for potential reversals are sought.

Manufacturing Numbers from Britain, Canadian Housing Data

The U.K will publish its Manufacturing Production figures at 8:30 GMT and traders will be interesting in the results.
