US Futures Higher as Investors Expect Tax Vote, U.S Growth Numbers Near

The U.S tax reform saga will likely end positively today. Wall Street is being called to open higher via the Futures Markets.

Tomorrow GDP data will come from the States. Later today, Crude Oil Inventories numbers will be released.

Tax Reform Saga Almost Over, Gross Domestic Product Data Tomorrow

U.S equities stumbled at the end of Tuesday’s trading day, but they are being called to open higher today because it appears the tax reform legislation saga will end positively. And important Gross Domestic Product numbers will be published in the States tomorrow, but trading volumes will begin to lessen as the Christmas holiday approaches.

Asian Equities Cautious and Mixed, Japanese Data Misses Estimate

Asian equities were mixed today, but the Nikkei Index did manage a slight gain. The Bank of Japan Monetary Policy Statement will be issued tomorrow, but no surprises are expected. Earlier today the All Industries Activity data from Japan came in slightly below its estimate. The Yen has traded weaker against the U.S Dollar today.

Inflation Numbers in Germany Disappoint, Financial Stability Hearings in U.K

The German Producer Price Index came in below expectations today with a fractional gain of 0.1%. The result underscores the notion of rather muted inflation and may cause potential headwinds for the Euro. However, the European currency is solidly above the 1.18 juncture today. The U.K Treasury will begin its Financial Stability hearings soon, and Bank of England Governor Mark Carney will speak.

Crude Oil Showing Short Term Strength, Supply Data from U.S Today

U.S Crude Oil has provided an interesting opportunity for traders the past week. After testing support the commodity has been able to attract buyers and is now hovering below 58.00 U.S Dollars a barrel while showing strength. Crude Oil Inventory data will come from the States today.

Mark Carney Speaking Soon, Residential Homes Data from States

Existing Home Sales data from the U.S will get the attention of traders when the numbers are released at 15:00 GMT.
