Quick Verdict

I have put my 7+ years of experience trading and testing prop firms into this Atmos Funded review, purchasing the $100,000 Nova Challenge account to see what this firm, which was launched in November 2024 by the Taurex brokerage group, offers. I traded the Nova account myself; the other two plans are assessed from the rules pages, the Help Center and support answers. Atmos has been gaining ground with its aggressive pricing offers, giving traders access to account sizes of up to $200K, with just a $5 entry fee.

Atmos Funded is one of the newer prop firms but already reports more than $2.2 million paid out to a base of 60,000+ traders in 170+ countries (figures from its homepage on 21 October 2026). The catch is where Atmos puts its rules. The challenges themselves are easy on the FXEmpire difficulty scale (Nova scores 32.5/100), but the funded stage is strict: Nova charges a funded fee of $79 to $1,029 after you pass, needs 7 profitable days before the first payout, caps risk at 1% per symbol per day, and locks your maximum drawdown at the starting balance the moment you request a payout. Add MT5 as the only platform and a 14-day payout cycle on most plans, and the $5 headline looks less simple. I also found that several of these details sit in the FAQ rather than on the main pages.

Is Atmos Funded For You?

Atmos Funded is a prop firm that works great for traders with small budgets for challenge fees, EA traders and swing traders who can work within its rules. It is a poor fit for high-frequency scalpers and for traders who need swap-free accounts.

Best For:

  • Day Traders: Raw spreads of 0.2 pips on EUR/USD with a $5 round-turn commission, 1:50 leverage and no time limit to pass.
  • Swing Traders: Overnight and weekend holding is allowed on every plan and there is no time limit to pass, so multi-day trades can run.
  • Beginners & Intermediate: The $5 Nova challenge lets traders with little capital try a $200,000 account for the price of a coffee, though a $1,029 funded fee on that size comes after you pass.

Possible Dealbreakers:

  • High-Frequency Traders: If your strategy revolves around scalping very quickly, this isn’t your platform, as HFT is a prohibited strategy and at least 50% of all your trades must stay open for more than 2 minutes. Breaking either rule is a breach.
  • Islamic/Swap-Free Traders: There are no swap-free/Islamic accounts available here for traders who want to hold for long periods and avoid swap fees.
  • US residents: Atmos does not accept traders from the USA, and also excludes Belgium, Russia and Ukraine among others.

Atmos Funded Strategy Compatibility Breakdown

Trading Style/Profile Advantages Drawbacks Verdict
Day Trading Tight raw spreads on major pairs (0.2 pips typical on EURUSD) keep costs low. Limited 1:10 leverage on indices might restrict traders who use heavy lot sizes. ⭐ Perfect Match

Swing Trading Weekend holding fully supported. No swap-free accounts means swap fees can add up.  ⭐ Perfect Match
News Trading Allowed without restriction in the challenge phase. No opening or closing within 2 minutes either side of high-impact news (funded stage) ✅ Acceptable Choice
Casual Trading No time limits to pass challenges. Challenge can be terminated after 90 inactive days. ✅ Acceptable Choice
Beginners & Intermediate Simple dashboard. Cheap $5 entry on Nova. No free trial or demo account, which means you must pay to test your strategies. ✅ Acceptable Choice
Automated Trading EAs allowed. No pre-approval required. Ban on High-Frequency Trading (HFT) bots and latency arbitrage. ✅ Acceptable Choice

How Did We Rate the Firm's Trust?
Trust is a cornerstone when selecting a proprietary trading firm. To help you make a confident decision, we analyzed each firm's background and transparency practices. We assessed the clarity of trading rules, including profit targets, drawdown limits, and the absence of unreasonable trading restrictions and forced stop-loss requirements. We also examined payout transparency, along with the firm's overall openness through its operational history, payout consistency, trader testimonials, and performance reporting.

Can I Trust Atmos Funded?

Yes, with caution: Atmos Funded is a legitimate, Taurex-backed prop firm that pays, but its public reputation is mixed. Atmos already reports $2.2+ million in payouts (I checked payment posts on Prop Firm Match and Discord). Its weak spot is reputation, with an average 3.5/5 on Trustpilot against an excellent 4.7/5 on Prop Firm Match. As a new platform with a very low barrier to entry, I can understand its mixed trust reputation score, especially on Trustpilot.

This score was pulled down by its 3.5/5 on Trustpilot and by a track record that is only one year long, which I think matters here: a strict, young firm has not yet shown how it handles a busy payout month.

Company Stability

Established under the umbrella of Taurex brokerage firm in 2024, Atmos Funded is based in Nicosia, Cyprus, in the Strovolos district. The firm lists two offices: an operational office in Nicosia (AtmosFunded Ltd) and a registered office in Fomboni, Mohéli, Union of the Comoros (Atmos Global Ltd).

The firm offers round-the-clock customer support and has special tools built into its dashboard, such as the instant Taurex Live transfer and the drawdown lock on payout (on Nova and Instant, Atmos fixes the max drawdown at the initial balance the moment you request a payout). Prop Firm Match lists Nick Cooke, who is also the CEO of Taurex, as the CEO of Atmos Funded.

The firm operates under two entities: AtmosFunded Ltd (Cyprus, payments and services) and Atmos Global Ltd (Comoros, operates the trading platform). Neither entity is regulated by a financial regulator: Atmos Global Ltd prints a Comoros company licence (BFX2025060), and the site’s own disclosure says Atmos is “neither licensed, authorised, nor regulated”. Any regulation it posts belongs to its backer, Taurex, a question the support agent I spoke to would not answer.

Trustpilot Rating

Atmos Funded holds a 3.5/5 rating based on 338 reviews, with 59% five-star and 31% one-star. One verified user summarizes the platform, noting that “I had an issue with my payout, follow up was made, 2 interviews were made, then after review I got my payout. For the fact that everything was reviewed after contacting the firm and responding is an important characteristic of a prop firm.”

Like that review, most of Atmos Funded’s positive reviews center around its very fast crypto payouts and dashboard stability. Negative feedback from users frequently highlights withdrawal denials and hidden rules that disqualify traders. The pattern suggests the firm is strict, but that it pays if you follow the rules. (Check Date: 21 October, 2026)

Atmos Funded Trustpilot

Prop Firm Match Rating

Atmos Funded has a 4.7/5 star rating from 48 reviews on Prop Firm Match, 87.5% of them 5 stars. A Prop Firm Match listing means the firm has registered with the platform and traders can post their payouts there; 4.7 sits above the platform’s typical mid-4 scores. The sample is small, so it does not offset the Trustpilot score, but it does say something about how the firm treats traders who follow the rules.

Atmos Funded propfirmmatch

Transparency

As with many prop firms, you need to dig through the website to find some of the additional trading rules and fine print that can easily get your account banned. However, Atmos Funded makes the headline rules easy to find, with a dedicated Rules page at the top of the site. That page gives the main rules and defers every exact figure, lock condition and reset time to the FAQ, so you need to read both before you buy.

Atmos Funded rules

Trading Rules Transparency

In the rules section, Atmos Funded lists all the necessary trading rules you need to follow, e.g. profit target, drawdown limits, min trading days, news trading, and more. The dedicated section makes it very easy for beginners to sift through these rules, putting them into the necessary headers for easy access. I have summarized them for you below:

  • Prohibited Strategies: No commercial EAs, one-sided bets, chasing price, aggressive averaging to pass challenges. Martingale, tick scalping, grid trading, and hyperactivity are also prohibited under their Anti-Gambling Policy. The same policy requires traders at Atmos to keep a consistent trading style, with no abrupt strategy changes without approval. No opening or closing trades within 2 minutes before or after a high-impact news event once funded.
  • Consistency Rule: No consistency rule applies to Nova or 2-Step Standard; Instant Funding has a 20% rule. This is a massive selling point. You can make 80% of your profit in one trade, and they will still pay you out.
  • Risk Limits: Atmos has an All-In rule which bans oversized positions that have no stop loss, with the Nova Challenge even capping per-symbol daily risk at 1%. Atmos operates with equity-based drawdown limits. Leverage is capped at 1:50 for forex pairs, 1:15 for metals, 1:10 for indices and 1:2 for crypto.
  • Account Policies: You can use multiple accounts on Atmos. No profit target once funded. Payout request every 14 days (on demand on Nova), with a minimum withdrawal of $100. Live Taurex transfer available, along with crypto and bank wire.
  • Penalty System: Hard breaches (exceeding drawdown limits or violating banned trading practices) will lead to immediate account closure, the termination of all open trades, and the forfeiture of profits. Soft breaches (violating news rules) lead to profit deduction, manually done by the Atmos team.

If you plan to change your trading style, you’ll need to reach out to customer support first, as abrupt strategy changes need approval.

News Trading Rules

News trading is allowed in the challenge phase and restricted once you are funded: you cannot open or close trades within 2 minutes either side of high-impact macroeconomic news. You can leave an already open position to run through a news event. What is banned is opening or closing a trade in that 4-minute window, and the Help Center warns that a pending order, stop loss or take profit that triggers inside the window can count too. A violation is a soft breach, and any profits from those trades are removed from the account.

Consistency Rule

Atmos Funded applies the consistency rule only to Instant Funding. Your best day may not exceed 20% of total profit, measured on equity. Nova and 2-Step Standard have no consistency rule. This is separate from the Anti-Gambling Policy’s rule on keeping a consistent trading style, which is covered above.

Minimum Trading Days

The Atmos 2-Step Standard challenge requires a minimum of 3 profitable days per phase, and the Help Center applies the same 3 days to the funded stage. A day only counts if it closes with a profit of at least 0.5%. Instant Funding has no minimum trading days. The Nova challenge has none in the challenge phase, but the funded stage needs 7 profitable days (each at least 0.5% of the initial balance) before your first payout.

Payout Transparency

The firm processes withdrawals via Crypto (BTC, ETH, USDT) and Bank Wire. Alternatively, there is the instant Taurex live account transfer, if you want to directly reinvest your profits and not withdraw them to your account. Payouts can be requested every 14 days on 2-Step Standard and Instant. Nova pays on demand once you have 7 profitable days.

Processing time is officially 2-5 business days, while the homepage says “Get Paid in Hours” and the Promotions page mentions “Payouts in Minutes.” The largest payout shown on the Promotions page is $14,619. Reviewers occasionally complain about denied payouts and blocked accounts on Trustpilot, so I recommend getting familiar with the trading rules of Atmos.

General Transparency

  • Website: Atmos’ platform is very easy to navigate. You can set the language to English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Arabic, Malay, Thai, Portuguese, Indonesian, and Simplified Chinese. In any language, Atmos makes the challenge rules very easy to find, even presenting side-by-side comparison tables on the homepage and adding a Rules section for essential trading rules.
  • Social Media: Atmos has built a fairly decent following across social media. On X it has 9.2k followers and 12k+ followers on Instagram. It has 3.5k+ subscribers on YouTube, with 270+ videos. It has a very active Discord community with 7,700+ traders signed up (counts checked 21 October 2026), which regularly hosts discussions with other traders. Atmos is also on Facebook, LinkedIn and TikTok, and it has a Community Hub app on Google Play.
  • Risk Management: The firm’s dashboard is nothing too fancy, only keeping the important bits for every trader. It tracks your daily loss limit, profit target and progress in real time, which removes any ambiguity about challenge progression.

How Did We Rate the Firm's Challenges?
Challenges are the gateway to the world of proprietary trading. To assess each firm's challenge structure, we thoroughly reviewed the full range of offerings, evaluating their diversity, complexity, and accessibility. As the industry benchmark, we focused on the two-step challenge. For this challenge type, we analyzed key factors for each step, including profit target, profit-to-drawdown ratio, daily drawdown limit, overall drawdown limit, leverage, maximum risk per trade, time limit, required number of trading days, and minimum profitable trading days. In addition, we assessed the ratio between the profit target and the total drawdown for both steps, which helped us gauge the overall difficulty and fairness of the challenge.
Chart

Atmos Funded offers a variety of challenges with one of the lowest barriers to entry in the industry. There are three challenge types on sale: Nova (one step), 2-Step Standard and Instant Funding. The Nova challenge is clearly a feature that brings traders to the platform. I am not aware of any other top firm which promises traders capital of up to $200,000 with just an upfront fee of $5.

Earlier in 2026 Atmos also sold 1-Step Standard, 1-Step Plus and 2-Step Plus plans. None of the three could be bought at checkout when I checked on 21 October 2026, so this review covers only the three plans on sale.

How Hard Is the Atmos Funded Challenge? (Difficulty vs. Industry Standards)

Atmos Funded’s challenges sit in the Low Difficulty tier on the FXEmpire difficulty scale: Nova scores 32.5/100 and 2-Step Standard 28.5/100 (using Phase 1 inputs). The scale weighs seven parameters: the profit target to max drawdown ratio (25 points), the max drawdown type (22), the daily loss limit (18), the time limit (15), the consistency rule (10), minimum profitable days (7) and leverage (3). Each parameter is rated Easy (1), Moderate (2) or Hard (3), multiplied by its weight, and the total is converted to a 0-100 score, so you can see exactly which rules push a challenge up or down before you buy.

Very Low Difficulty Low Difficulty Moderate Difficulty High Difficulty Extreme Difficulty
Atmos Funded (Nova 32.5, 2-Step Standard 28.5)

2-Step Standard Challenge: The 2-Step Standard scores 28.5/100 (Low). Phase 1 asks for 10% against a 10% static drawdown, a ratio of 1.0 that rates Moderate (50 points) against the 1:1 industry norm. The static, equity-based max drawdown is the second-easiest type (44), and the 5% daily loss limit rates Easy (18). No time limit (15), no consistency rule (10), 3 profitable days per phase (14) and 1:50 leverage (6) complete the total of 157 points, or 28.5. In practice the static drawdown is what makes this the easiest plan to plan around, even with the 3-day minimum in each phase.

Nova Challenge: Nova scores 32.5/100 (Low). Its 5% target against an 8% trailing max drawdown is a ratio of 0.63, well under the ~1:1 industry norm, which rates Easy and adds only 25 points. No time limit (15), no consistency rule (10) and no minimum trading days (7) all rate Easy too. What pushes the score up is the trailing, equity-based max drawdown, the hardest type (66 points), and the 4% daily loss limit, which is the industry standard (36). Leverage of 1:50 is Moderate (6). Total 165 points, which converts to 32.5. The funded stage adds its own hurdles, 7 profitable days and the 1% per-symbol cap, but those sit outside the challenge score.

Instant Funding: Instant has no challenge stage and no profit target, so the FXEmpire difficulty calculator cannot score it. Judged on its funded rules alone it would sit around Moderate: a 20% consistency rule (the strictest setting on the scale), a strict 5% trailing max drawdown that locks at the initial balance and on payout, and a 3% daily loss limit, offset by no minimum trading days and no time limit.

Resets: If you fail the Nova challenge you simply buy another for $5. A failed Nova funded account can be reset for 10% off the funded fee, as many times as you like. For 2-Step Standard and Instant, Atmos only says a reset may be available depending on account type, so ask support before you buy.

Drawdown Rules: Atmos Funded uses an equity-based drawdown model on all its accounts. The Nova and Instant drawdowns trail until they reach the initial balance and then lock there, which gives you room to let a winning trade run, while 2-Step Standard uses a static drawdown that is easy to plan around. Keep in mind that Nova also caps risk at 1% per symbol per day: on a $100,000 account that is $1,000 of risk per instrument per day, closed and floating combined, which rules out most swing-sized positions. Overall, I think it is a fair model to work with.

Flexibility: Day traders get a decent 1:50 leverage and raw spreads on all account types. Swing traders can hold overnight and over the weekend, but the lack of Islamic/swap-free accounts means fees can add up, especially for long trades.

Atmos Funded Trading Rules By Strategy

Atmos is very clear about its trading rules, dedicating a separate Rules page to what you can and cannot do as a funded trader. Several of the complaints I read on Trustpilot trace back to rules that are printed on that page and in the FAQ. Here are the trading rules you’ll need to follow depending on your trading strategy.

Restricted in the funded stage. The restriction is a 4-minute window (2 minutes before/after any major news event). You can hold positions through news events, but Atmos frowns on opening or closing trades on instruments affected by a high-impact news event and treats a violation as a soft breach, removing the profits you get from trading high-impact news events.

Allowed on all Atmos account types, and you can hold positions over the weekend. Without access to Islamic and swap-free accounts, fees can add up. Your SL and TP orders remain in the system but will not execute until the market reopens, meaning gap risk is entirely yours to manage.

Partial support. If your strategy is high-frequency trading (HFT) or tick-scalping algorithms, they are banned here. At least 50% of all trades must stay open longer than 2 minutes. You won’t have problems with normal scalping, as Atmos’ Help Center gives an example of 10-30 trades a day with holds of 1-10 minutes.

Leverage depends on the asset, reaching 1:50 on forex. MT5 gives you the intraday tools that matter: custom indicators, the strategy tester for backtesting and a depth-of-market window, and the dashboard adds an economic calendar.

EAs are allowed on all account types without pre-approval. However, there is a limit to the type of EAs the firm supports. Atmos Funded restricts commercial/third-party EAs, arbitrage, latency exploitation, HFT, tick‑scalping, or strategies designed to abuse execution conditions.

Permitted, but strictly only on your own accounts. You can copy trades from your personal Atmos accounts. The Atmos system will trigger a breach if it detects that you are copying signals from a commercial third-party master account used by other Atmos traders.

Fair. With 113 total instruments, you get the core FX majors, gold, and mainstream crypto, but you cannot trade individual tech stocks, although soft commodities such as cocoa, coffee and sugar are available.

Price

5.0
How Did We Rate the Firm's Price?
Challenge cost is a key factor in assessing a prop firm's overall value. In this category, we evaluate how much trading capital a trader receives relative to their entry fee by analyzing the price-to-capital ratio across one-step, two-step, and three-step challenges. To determine whether a firm offers good value for money, we use a simple formula that shows how much trading capital is provided for every 1% of the entry fee paid:
Capital Efficiency = Sum of All Account Balances / Sum of All Challenge Fee
Chart

Pricing is one area where Atmos Funded shines, especially with its Nova Challenges. It gives traders the opportunity to access accounts of up to $200K with a fee of only $5. Nova charges a funded fee after you pass; the pooled TCPD figures below include that fee. Apart from that post-pass fee, Atmos charges one fee per challenge and does not refund it. Atmos’ True Capital per Dollar (TCPD, the drawdown room you get per dollar of fee) sits above the industry benchmark on every plan, offering traders more usable breathing room per dollar spent.

The TCPD basis (shown under each price, per $1 spent): (account size × the plan’s max drawdown) ÷ the total cost to get funded, which adds the Nova funded fee to the challenge price. Max drawdowns used: 2-Step Standard 10%, Instant 5% and Nova 8%. On a $100K Nova account, the $5 entry fee alone would give $1,600 per $1, which means nothing, so Nova is always shown with its funded fee.

How Do We Assess the Competitiveness of the Firm’s Costs?

True Capital per Dollar (TCPD)

When you rank a prop firm by the notional value of its account sizes, it looks more impressive than it is in practice. For example, on a $100K Nova plan with an 8% max trailing drawdown, as a trader, you have only $8,000 of working room before hitting your limit. The $100K figure is simply the simulated balance on screen. The capital you can actually lose before termination is determined entirely by the drawdown limit, not the headline number.

TCPD cuts through that and shows how much real, usable capital you are getting for every dollar spent.

TCPD = (Account Size × Max Drawdown %) ÷ Challenge Price

Account Max DD Price TCPD
$100k 10% $549 $18.21 per $1
$50k 10% $329 $15.20 per $1

Atmos Funded Cost Competitiveness vs. Industry Benchmark

Challenge Type Funded Drawdown Average TCPD Industry Benchmark
2-Step Standard 10% (Static) $17.43 $14.39
Instant 5% (Trailing) $6.50 $4.98
Nova + Funded Fee 8% (Trailing) $13.81 $7.9

Average TCPD is pooled across every account size: the sum of (account size × max drawdown) divided by the sum of full prices, with the Nova funded fee included.

Refund Policies

Atmos Funded’s refund policy is narrow. Refunds apply only if you have not received or used the account, and only in two cases: a duplicate payment, or technical non-delivery of the account. Once you have your MT5 logins or have traded, or after 14 days, there is no refund. Card refunds take 5-10 business days and crypto refunds 24-48 hours. There is no fee refund on payout, and Nova fees are non-refundable from the moment you buy.

Trading Conditions

4.0
How Did We Rate the Firm's Conditions?
Trading conditions are the rules of the game. Understanding them is essential because it directly impacts strategy selection, trade timing, and risk management. To evaluate the full scope of a firm's trading conditions, we examined key elements such as trading fees (including spreads, commissions, and swap fees), available trading platforms, the range of tradable instruments, and the leverage offered. We also reviewed any prohibited trading styles and the presence of a consistency rule, if applicable. In addition, our assessment covered the conditions applied to funded accounts, scaling programs, inactivity policies, and the availability of demo accounts and Islamic (swap-free) accounts.
Chart

Atmos Funded’s trading conditions are strong for the price. My five 10-lot ETH/USD orders filled with almost no slippage, EUR/USD spreads sat at 0.1-0.2 pips at the London and New York opens, and the commission is a flat $5 per round-turn lot on every instrument. The catch is that spreads are variable and not published, so costs on crosses and commodities can run higher.

Trading Test

To test Atmos Funded, I bought the $100K Nova challenge and traded it on MetaTrader 5, the only platform Atmos offers. My own trading was five ETH/USD orders in one session on 17 September 2026; everything I say about the other two plans comes from the rules pages, the Help Center and support. The first problem came before I placed a trade. If you use the link from the download page, you get the Taurex build of the MT5 desktop app, which only lists the Taurex-Demo and Taurex-Live servers, so you cannot log in to the AtmosGlobal-LIVE server. (Screenshot added below.)

atmos funded dashboard

Once you download the right app, the execution itself is very good. I saw almost no slippage when opening multiple 10-lot ETH/USD positions during a volatile stretch in the crypto market.

One area where Atmos Funded could use some improvement is in its dashboard. The dashboard is highly functional, displaying exactly how much daily drawdown capital I had left down to the penny and the trades I had opened, but it does not show the trailing max-drawdown line or the 1% per-symbol daily risk used, two numbers Nova traders need to watch.

Trading Platforms and Tools

The only way to trade on Atmos Funded is the MT5 platform, which I consider a letdown for a firm that launched in late 2024, when most new rivals open with two or three platforms. While you can’t use MT4, MatchTrader, TradeLocker or cTrader platforms, you can use its MT5 on desktop, web, iOS and Android. Atmos supports MT5’s advanced trading tools, including custom indicators and algorithmic execution. The dashboard also has an Economic Calendar tab, which is a real plus.

It is best for heavy analytical work, custom indicators and running complex EAs. The depth of market (DOM) tool worked flawlessly here.

Atmos Funded Accounts

When it comes to fees, Atmos Funded uses a commission-based fee system (raw spread plus commission). The firm charges $2.50 per lot per side, or $5 per round-turn lot, plus the spread. Even if you’re trading indices and crypto, you’ll still have to pay both fees. What I noticed was that the spread was mainly based on market conditions, with Atmos operating a variable system, meaning your trading fees will vary depending on the instrument and current market conditions.

Leverage

If you are looking for 1:100 leverage, Atmos Funded is not your platform. The firm’s leverage varies by asset class, not by challenge type, maxing out at 1:50 on forex pairs.

Assets All Accounts
FX 1:50
Crypto 1:2
Indices 1:10
Metals (Gold/Silver) 1:15
Commodities (Oil) 1:40

Trading Fees

The cost structure itself is simple, a raw spread plus a flat commission, but only half of it is published. Atmos clearly lists its commission on all instruments, while spreads and swap fees vary and are not listed up front. Holding positions on Atmos will incur overnight swap fees on all accounts, depending on the instrument and holding duration. The firm does not offer a swap-free or Islamic account option, which is a limitation for traders who require interest-free overnight holding. There is a single weekend asset that doesn’t incur these fees, XAUUSD247.

Spreads

During my testing of the $100,000 account, I recorded spreads during the London open and the highly volatile New York open. The EUR/USD spread was 0.1-0.2 pips in both sessions, as Atmos promised, and GBP/JPY, a pair known for choppy pricing, stayed under 2.5 pips at peak volume. The figures below are what I recorded on the $100K Nova account; Atmos is a commission-based (raw) account on every instrument, so the raw industry averages apply.

Instruments Atmos Funded Spreads Industry Average
EURUSD 0.1-0.2 pips 0.2 pips
BTCUSD $30 $27*
Gold 17 cents 26 cents*
WTI $0.03 $0.047*
US30 3.2 points 3.14 points*

Commissions

The firm charges commissions on a round-trip basis (in and out combined) on every instrument.

Instruments Atmos Funded Commissions Industry Average
EURUSD $5.00 per Round Turn Lot $5/Lot round turn
BTC $5.00 per Round Turn Lot 0.04% (about $31)
WTI $5.00 per Round Turn Lot $0/Lot (Zero-commission instrument)
Gold $5.00 per Round Turn Lot $5/Lot round turn
US30 $5.00 per Round Turn Lot $0/Lot (Zero-commission instrument)

WTI and US30 carry the same $5 round-turn commission at Atmos, against $0 at the industry benchmark, so on commissions those two sit above industry.

Swap Fees

Atmos does not set swap fees; they come from its liquidity providers and are charged at 5 pm New York time daily. You won’t find a live swap table on the Atmos website, so you have to check inside MT5 to find them. There are also no swap-free (Islamic) accounts, which means you can’t avoid these fees, unless you trade the one swap-free asset, XAUUSD247.

Overall Trading Fees

The swap fees you pay depend on the asset and holding time, so I kept them separate from this comparison. When it comes to the total fees you should expect, it is the spread and the commissions across the board, as Atmos charges a $5 commission per round turn lot. Because spread varies by assets, you’ll get charged different fees. My all-in cost per lot (spread from the table above plus the $5 commission) was $7.00 on EUR/USD, $35 on BTC, $8.00 on WTI and $22 on GOLD, and 3.2 points plus $5 on US30. Starred (*) industry figures are shown for reference only.

Instruments Trading Fee Industry Average
EUR/USD $7.00 ($5 commission + 0.2 pip spread) $7.00 / lot
BTC $35.0 $58*
WTI $8.00 $4.70*
GOLD $22 $31*
US30 3.2 points + $5 commission 3.14 points / lot*

On EUR/USD, Atmos matches the raw industry average exactly; BTC and gold come in under the reference figures, while WTI and US30 cost more because Atmos adds its $5 commission to instruments most firms offer commission-free.

Prohibited Trading Styles

Atmos is strict but fair, clearly stating the trading styles that are banned. Below are the prohibited trading styles on Atmos Funded:

Strategy Atmos Funded Interpretation
Hedging Allowed inside a single account. Hedging across multiple accounts, or with an outside broker, is banned.
Grid Trading / Martingale Both Prohibited. Atmos sees them as carrying excessive risk for proper risk management.
Latency Arbitrage Prohibited. You can’t exploit price or feed delays. It is considered platform/price-feed abuse and could get your account banned.
High-Frequency Trading (HFT) Prohibited. HFT bots and tick-scalping are banned. If you want to remain on Atmos, at least 50% of all executed trades must remain open for more than 2 minutes.
Overleveraging Atmos requires its traders not to open a single, oversized trade without SL that risks a significant portion of the account. They consider it betting.
Copy Trading Across Accounts The firm doesn’t allow you to copy trades from signal groups or other traders. You can only copy trades from your own Atmos accounts.
News Trading (all plans, funded stage) 4-minute blackout window. You cannot open or close trades within 2 minutes either side of a high-impact news event, but you can hold positions through it. A breach is a soft breach, and profits from those trades are removed.
Aggressive averaging Prohibited. Atmos bans aggressive averaging to pass challenges.
Chasing price Prohibited. Atmos lists chasing price among its banned practices.
One-sided bets Prohibited. Atmos lists one-sided bets among its banned practices.
Hyperactivity/Execution Flooding Prohibited. Atmos bans hyperactivity under its Anti-Gambling Policy.
Account Sharing Prohibited. Atmos lists account sharing among its banned practices.
Group/MAM Trading Prohibited. Atmos lists group or MAM trading among its banned practices.
Platform Abuse Prohibited. Atmos lists platform abuse among its banned practices.

Breaking these rules leads to immediate account closure, removal of profits and possible exclusion from the program. Atmos also restricts traders from some countries, including the USA, Belgium, Russia and Ukraine.

Tradable Instruments

When it comes to tradable instruments, Atmos Funded offers you a fair list of assets to choose from. You can trade 113 instruments on all account types across 6 asset classes (counted in MT5 Market Watch on 17 September 2026), with stocks being a very notable omission. That is a smaller list than FTMO, which also offers stock CFDs, but broad enough for most forex and crypto strategies. This would be a major drawback for traders who build their strategies around stocks.

Instrument Number Type or Examples
Forex Pairs 51 EURUSD, GBPUSD, USDCHF, USDJPY
Metals 4 XAGUSD, XAUUSD, XPDUSD, XPTUSD
Indices 14 AUS200, US30, US100, CN50, EU50
Cryptocurrencies 33 BTCUSD, ETHUSD, DOGEUSD, ADAUSD, UNIUSD
Energies 4 GASOIL, UKOIL, USOIL, XNGUSD
Commodities 7 COCOA, COFFEE, SUGAR, XCUUSD

Demo Account

Atmos Funded does not offer a free demo account or trial period where you can trade or test out strategies. If you want to test their specific spread environment, you have to buy a Nova challenge account for $5. The $5 entry fee keeps the cost low, but it is still a drawback for beginners and experienced traders who want to test out their strategies for free.

Inactivity

The inactivity rule is generous. According to the Help Center, a challenge account that stays inactive for 90 days may be terminated, and on funded accounts the inactivity period extends to 365 days. Atmos does not define what counts as activity, so place a trade well inside those windows.

Funded Account

Atmos Funded’s evaluation and funded rules are mostly consistent: the drawdown limits and leverage you see in the challenge carry over to the funded account. The differences are that the news restriction applies only in the funded stage, Nova needs 7 profitable days before the first payout, and requesting a payout locks the max drawdown at the initial balance on Nova and Instant.

Account Type 2-Step Standard Nova Instant Funding
Daily Drawdown 5% 4% 3%
Maximum Drawdown 10% (Static) 8% (Trailing) 5% (Trailing, locks at payout)

Islamic (Swap-free) Account

Atmos Funded has no Islamic (swap-free) option, which many prop firms offer as a switch at checkout. You can hold positions overnight, but swap fees apply to every trader.

Consistency Rule

A consistency rule caps how much of your total profit can come from a single day. Atmos has none on Nova or 2-Step Standard, which is a selling point. It applies only to Instant Funding: no single day can exceed 20% of total profit, measured on equity. Atmos does not publish the penalty for breaching it, so treat it as a payout blocker.

Scaling Plan

Atmos Funded has a scaling plan, but in my view, it is one of the most limited in the industry. From the get-go, you can get an account size as large as $200,000, which is a good start for traders who want access to large capital. With the scaling plan, you can access capital of up to $400,000, which only doubles its biggest challenge account size. To qualify for scaling, you must meet these requirements:

  • Trade consistently with Atmos for at least 4 months
  • Complete at least 2 payouts on a funded account
  • Achieve more than 15% total profit
  • Continue respecting all trading rules and risk limits

Traders who meet these requirements will be considered for a capital increase. Atmos Funded does not disclose the size of each increase, so I cannot give a worked example; it only states that traders who meet the above requirements can eventually get access to up to $400,000 in trading capital. Instant Funding is sold up to $100K and its allocation is capped at $200K, half the ceiling of the other plans. Scaling is also how you reach the improved profit split of up to 90% without the add-on, and Atmos does not state whether capital increases are automatic. Note that when I asked live chat about scaling, the human agent told me there was no scaling plan and that $200,000 was the maximum, which contradicts the website and the email support reply.

KYC (Know Your Customer)

On Atmos, KYC is triggered when you pass, not when you buy. On Nova it is step two of funded-account activation, after paying the funded fee and before the account is enabled; on the other plans Atmos verifies you within 24-48 hours of passing and before your first payout. The process involves a government-issued photo identity document (national ID, passport or driver’s license) and a valid proof of address (utility bill or bank statement from the past 3 months).

Payouts

4.1
How Did We Rate the Firm's Payouts?
To evaluate a prop firm's payout structure, we looked at more than just the profit split. We analyzed the profit-sharing terms, along with any bonuses or promotional incentives offered to traders. Our assessment included a close review of payout frequency, the variety of available withdrawal methods, processing times, and any associated withdrawal fees. We also checked for specific conditions tied to first and minimum withdrawals, ensuring traders have transparent and fair access to their earnings.
Chart

Atmos Funded’s payout terms sit right around the industry average. I did not reach a payout during my test, so the timings below are the firm’s own and what traders report on Discord. You can request payout every 14 days at the base 80% profit split. If you want a higher profit split of 90%, you can buy the 90/10 add-on at checkout (+15% on the challenge price, not offered on Nova) or earn it through the scaling program. The hard payout rules are listed below.

  • Drawdown lock on payout: On Nova and Instant, requesting a payout fixes your max drawdown at the initial balance. A full payout is a hard breach: it breaches the total drawdown and the account is closed, so always leave a buffer. In my view, this is the payout rule that matters most on Atmos.
  • Minimum withdrawal: $100.
  • Processing time: 2-5 business days after approval.
  • Payment methods: Crypto, bank wire and Taurex transfer. Availability varies by region.
  • Nova: You need 7 profitable days (each at least 0.5% of the initial balance) before your first payout. Payouts are on demand after that.

Profit Split

The base profit split on Atmos Funded is 80%. You can lift your split to 90% with the 90/10 Profit Share add-on at checkout (+15% on the price, not available on Nova), and consistent earners can also scale up to 90%. That is standard rather than best in class: FTMO and The5ers both take traders to 100% through scaling, and Atmos does not.

Payout Rules

Categories Details
Profit Split 80% base, up to 90% with the 90/10 add-on purchase or through scaling
Payment Method Crypto (USDT, BTC, ETH), Bank Wire, local methods by region, Taurex transfer
Fees Crypto/banking fees apply
Processing Time 2-5 business days after approval
Payout Frequency Every 14 days (Nova: on demand after 7 profitable days)
Minimum Withdrawal $100

Withdrawal Methods

Method Fees Processing Time
Crypto Network Fees 2-5 business days after approval
Bank Wire Transfer  Banking Fees 2-5 business days after approval
Taurex Live Trading Account N/A Instant once processed

Atmos’ own timing claims conflict: the homepage says “Get Paid in Hours,” the Promotions page says “Payouts in Minutes,” and the FAQ says 2-5 business days. Treat the faster figures as marketing until you have your first payout; Atmos only commits to crypto being the faster of the two methods. A Taurex transfer is instant once processed, and the homepage lists a 10% deposit bonus on Taurex transfers. Available methods vary by region.

Bonuses and Promotions

Atmos Funded is aggressive with its marketing and frequently runs promotions, including the WELCOME code (35% off your first purchase) and the OCT code (10% off 2-Step and Instant Funding, valid 3-31 October), both listed on the Promotions page when I checked on 21 October 2026; a short SCORE26 code (26% off, 8-12 October) had already expired. There is also an affiliate program, paying 10% per sale for 1-75 referrals (bi-weekly payouts), 15% for 76-250 (weekly) and 20% above that (on demand). However, Atmos does not offer any discount for the Nova challenge fees, since they cost just $5.

Support

4.1
How Did We Rate the Firm's Support?
In this category, we evaluated the availability and responsiveness of customer support, including the number of contact channels offered—such as live chat, email, and messaging apps. We tested each channel to assess response time, helpfulness, and overall support quality. We also assessed the firm's commitment to trader education by reviewing the range and quality of available learning materials. This included videos, articles, eBooks, webinars, and structured courses aimed at helping traders grow their skills and knowledge.
Chart

Overall: You can reach the Atmos Funded support team via multiple support channels. The AI chatbot performed decently well and hands you to a human once you ask, though it took about four prompts. You can also get answers to most of the questions you’ll come across in the FAQ section. There is also a WhatsApp line, which answered within minutes during my test.

Key finding: The AI chatbot needs about 4 prompts before it routes you to a human. Atmos’ customer support is fairly knowledgeable.

Key positive: Human replies on live chat arrived within one to two minutes on technical rules questions; Discord community managers were just as fast.

Key limitation: Atmos AI Assistant handles most inquiries, until you request to speak to a human agent.

Best for: Traders who are comfortable communicating technical issues via Discord and live chat tickets.

Support Test

To give you the best overview of customer support, I sent several queries across live chat, Discord, and email, mostly on scaling, the drawdown lock and the news rule. Live chat was decent, and responses were very quick, though live chat contradicted the website on scaling. While the customer support appeared helpful at first, when asked specific questions, they provided the same copy-pasted responses before eventually providing useful information. Screenshot provided below.

The email support was a similar story. With the email, the response time was almost instant because it was their proprietary AI assistant handling the responses. The support email confirmed (like on the website) that you can get up to $400,000 with their scaling program, whereas the human customer service representative answered that there is no scaling plan, with $200,000 being the maximum capital Atmos gives. There is also WhatsApp available, which does help during active trading sessions. Overall, the responses on technical questions about trading rules were good and fast, as I received a response within one to two minutes.

Atmos Funded Support Test

Education

You won’t find the biggest libraries of educational content on Atmos like you will on the likes of FTMO. However, what Atmos does well is provide traders with the important information they need and can apply. Its Help Center covers the rules in plain language (the drawdown-lock, consistency and news-trading articles are the ones to read), and the blog adds region-specific payment and tax notes alongside the general content every trader needs.

There is also a dedicated Discord community for discussions and 200+ YouTube videos on their channel, along with a Community Hub app you can get on the Google Play store. The videos answer many basic questions prop traders ask. The education system, while not extensive, looks well-thought-out, with one gap: every checkout card promises weekly live webinars, but the YouTube live sessions that ran in early 2026 appear to have stopped (as of September 2026), and the site’s own FAQ says it does not provide formal educational programs or one-on-one mentorship. Overall, they provide useful material for beginner to intermediate traders trying to refine their risk models to pass the challenge.

The Bottom Line

Atmos Funded does live up to the hype of providing cheap access to capital with its Nova Challenge and quick fills, with almost no slippage on my 10-lot ETH/USD orders. While the Nova Challenge gives traders accounts of up to $200,000 at a $5 fee, there is a funded fee of $79 to $1,029 for traders who pass the evaluation phase. The cheap entry comes with strict funded rules: 7 profitable days before the first payout, a 1% per-symbol daily risk cap and a drawdown that locks at the starting balance once you request a payout. Atmos states all of this clearly, and the fills and drawdown model reward traders who can work inside it. The other things that will catch you are MT5 as the only platform, a desktop download link that points to the wrong app, an AI chatbot you have to get past to reach support, and the drawdown lock on payout.

Atmos is backed by the Taurex brokerage group, but the real reason for caution is its 3.5/5 Trustpilot score and the complaints behind it (denied payouts and rules traders missed), which is why I would read the Rules page and the FAQ before buying. The $400,000 scaling ceiling matters far less, since scaling needs four months, two payouts and 15% profit, and few traders get there.

My recommendation: buy Nova if you want the cheapest shot at a large account and can leave a buffer in it at payout time. Choose 2-Step Standard if you prefer a static drawdown and no fee after passing. Skip Instant Funding unless you need capital today, since it is capped at $100,000 at purchase, scales only to $200,000, and carries the 20% consistency rule.
