Quick Verdict

I have personally reviewed the QT Funded, and I think it deserves much more recognition. QT is the prop trading firm owned by Quant Tekel and founded in 2023. I have been following it since its beginning, so I decided to review it myself to see how it is to use it firsthand. In Q2 2026, I purchased their 2-step $50K evaluation on MT5, and I traded during the London and New York sessions. This is an honest review from my own research and not just some basic look at the marketing material and website, as I recorded all the data from the first trade until I did the last payout. Here’s my unbiased and objective opinion:

Overall Rating: 4.3/5

While taking an overview, I found that QT has paid out over $16 Million dollars to more than 100K traders within these three years which shows they have pretty stable operations. To me they came across as pretty suitable for swing and day traders as they offer leverage up to 1:100 without any restriction to hold trades overnight and overweekend. Its profit to drawdown parameters are pretty aligned with the industry across all the programs

I think the biggest plus for beginner traders is it has a very low entry barrier as they get to register for a $5K account with just $28. Payouts can be requested on demand, weekly or biweekly based on the program and addons.

There are a few things that catch traders off guard at QT Funded: Firstly it’s the consistency rule which varies from 20% – 35% based on the account type as it restricts a single day profit. Then it also has the minimum number of trading days, which varies by account type. There have also been some reports of issues with payouts which is definitely something to pay attention to going forward.

Is QT Funded For You?

Best For:

  • Swing traders: Swing traders can hold overnight and over the weekend. If a stop loss is reached when the market is closed, it will be executed at the first available market price when the market opens. Swap free accounts are also available as addons.
  • Day Trader: There’s no minimum trade holding time and you can do quick in out scalping with good leverage without worrying about anything.

Not For:

  • News traders on funded accounts: Because of the 10-minute limit, you are likely to breach a hard stop (at market open) and will eat into your edge.
  • EA traders: Every EA needs to be approved; unauthorized external EAs are not allowed.

Can I Trust QT Funded?

QT Funded has built a good reputation for paying out traders as number shows they have paid out more than $16 Million to traders – which shows traders can count on them. They launched in 2023, and are still relatively new, although it boasts two global offices and a team of over 40 employees which shows they have good operational capacity. It has a 3.9/5 for user reviews on Prop Firm Match with 650+ trader comments, as well as a 4.2/5 for user reviews on the Trustpilot platform with 12K+ reviews- It sits below the industry average, which is something QT will need to work on to stay competitive.

Company Stability

There are many factors such as challenge designs, payouts, brokerage backing and Operational capacity that actually determine the company’s stability. QT Funded is the prop trading arm of Quant Tekel in London, UK, which launched in October 2023. It is led by Tanswell Sassman. The brokerage side of the firm, Quant Tekel Pty Ltd, holds a license with FSCA in South Africa; however, the prop trading platform side of the firm is not regulated as a separate entity. The firm has paid out over $16 Million dollars to 105,000 traders across 180 different countries and has won many awards, including ‘Best New Prop Firm’ and ‘Best Overall Prop Firm 2025.’ They have two offices and 40 people in operations which shows they have good operational capacity and the company is stable.

Trustpilot Rating

As a trader, Trustpilot is the very first place I go to know how legitimate a firm is and check its reputation before I form a real opinion on it. The QT Funded page on Trustpilot is at 4.2 from over 12k reviews. “Been with them a while; support is great when any issues occur. Fast response to communications, always helpful,” said one verified trader. Among the positive reviews I read, the support is the one element that traders seem to prize more than the structure of the challenge, which goes a long way.

On the downside, I am reading many comments on payment delays after getting to the funded stage. A few users stated they lost access to account support once they reached it, too; that difference between the evaluated and funded stages of the trader’s experience is an interesting point to remember. (Check Date: 22 April, 2026)

Prop Firm Match Rating

Another good website to check up on the track record of any prop firm is Prop Firm Match. QT Funded holds an average rating of 3.8 out of 5 on 690 reviews. Out of these reviews, 52% are 5 stars. Simply being on the Prop Firm Match holds its own importance because the platform is willing to review firms prior to giving them a spot on their website. However, a 3.8 average rating is somewhat low in comparison to the platform average, so while it is good to know that they have been reviewed, they aren’t anything that someone needs to get overexcited about. That information is rather to be used as something to keep in mind than as a complete agreement from the firm. (Check Date: 22 April, 2026)

Transparency

As we see most of the firms say they are transparent and this always ends up that we traders get to know the main restrictions after already beginning the live trade. That is where all the trust comes into breakdown, not in the case of QT Funded for me. Their conditions and rules were clearly presented to us, not as I was expecting by that time due to the hiding conditions in most of the companies.

Trading Rules Transparency

QT Funded makes its rules clear to be viewed from the beginning; profit targets, drawdown, payout structure, leverage, news trading ban, EA criteria are on the website, you do not need to go through many pages of the fine printing, I know of some companies that key restrictions was hidden into footnotes, or were not properly mentioned in the FAQs pages; it was not like that for QT Funded for me; I had access to anything required before being financially committed. That fact puts QT Funded on the top of many companies at this phase.

Restricted Strategies: There are a few forbidden techniques, such as hedgy tricks, trying to take advantage of glitches within the platform, delayed data trading, high speed / frequency trading, grid strategy, arbitrage, and even trading around high impact news for all account types. While automated trading is allowed, it needs to comply with the firm’s rules of risk, which means having an add on and prior approval from management. My view is that this limitation of not being able to force every possible loophole helps you to actually trade the smart setups, and each prop needs to have this protection as it indirectly also protects you.

News Trading Rules: During the Evaluation phase there are no news trading restrictions. For funded traders, you are not allowed to open or close any trades 5 minutes before or after high impact news events. Any profitable trades within the 10-minute time period will be considered a breach.

Consistency Rule: For the 2-Step and the 2-Step Elite accounts, there is no consistency rule at all. A trader can make as much profit as he wants with no limit for each day; it is a feature that most traders find practical for the firm’s offerings.

This is not the same for other account types. The QT Instant account has a 25% consistency rule. For the 1-Step account, the 20% consistency rule applies only during the funded phase, so traders would not need to worry about the consistency during evaluation.

There’s a 35% consistency rule for QT Power which passes through both stages of the challenge, and the funded account too. The day’s profits cannot exceed 35% of the total profit at the time of withdrawal, and will be active from day one of the challenge up until the funded account.

Minimum Trading Days: Minimum Trading days actually vary between program types. For the 2-step and 2-step elite and QT power traders must have at least 4 trading days per phase. For QT instant and one step (funded) there is a 5 trading days requirement. One step does not have minimum trading days in the evaluation.

Payout Transparency

QT Funded has paid out more than $16 Million to over 100K traders- which shows they are paying out to the traders. They offers withdrawals via Crypto, Wire, and the QT Card. Both 2-Step and Instant are bi-weekly by default but have a weekly withdrawal add-on option, while 2-Step Elite and 1-Step can only be withdrawn bi-weekly. QT Power does on-demand withdrawals, and the process is done within 24 hours after receiving a trader’s request. While they are still a new firm, in my own experience, no step of withdrawal was confusing or hard to maneuver.

General Transparency

Website: As per my experience, the firm’s website is good from UI/UX perspective,it’s pretty straightforward, and easy to navigate. Traders don’t need to juggle on different pages of the website. Everything you need whether this is challenge details, trading rules, platform guides, and support resources are right there in one place without having to dig for it.

Social Media: QT Funded is present on practically all social media channels available, and they use it to gain transparency and to create trust with their customers. On Instagram their profile has 77K+ followers and more than 19 posts. They also own a YouTube channel that has over 4K subscribers and more than 90 videos showing the rules, the challenges, and the platform itself. QT Funded’s Twitter has a bit more than 31K followers, and Facebook and Discord pages have lower numbers but high user involvement.

Risk Management:

All risk parameters for your account can be viewed simply from the simple dashboard of QT Funded, where you can see where you stand with parameters such as your daily loss limit and your max drawdown. The rules are also pretty clear: The 2-Step accounts and 2-Step Elite accounts have a 4% daily loss limit and a 10% max drawdown, whereas the Instant account and the 1-Step account have a daily loss limit of 3% and a max drawdown of 6%.

QT Funded has an exposure rule as well that applies to all of its accounts. In the 2-step evaluation, the sum total exposure over all your open trades cannot be greater than 75% of the daily loss limit at any one time. Once funded for a 2-step or 2-step Elite account, the limit decreases to 2.5% of your initial account balance maximum. In the QT Instant, the limit is decreased to 2% of your initial account balance maximum once funded. This limit applies to stop-loss placement, floating loss, and risk from all combined open positions, and the limit is watched closely at all times in real-time. Any time this limit is crossed (even for a moment) results in a violation.

Challenges

4.6
How Did We Rate the Firm's Challenges?
Challenges are the gateway to the world of proprietary trading. To assess each firm's challenge structure, we thoroughly reviewed the full range of offerings, evaluating their diversity, complexity, and accessibility. As the industry benchmark, we focused on the two-step challenge. For this challenge type, we analyzed key factors for each step, including profit target, profit-to-drawdown ratio, daily drawdown limit, overall drawdown limit, leverage, maximum risk per trade, time limit, required number of trading days, and minimum profitable trading days. In addition, we assessed the ratio between the profit target and the total drawdown for both steps, which helped us gauge the overall difficulty and fairness of the challenge.
Chart

QT Funded offers five kinds of challenges: Instant, 1-Step, 2-Step and QT Power, and having done it as one who has traded at a few other prop firms, the structure seems relatively simple for one out of the numerous ones. Drawdown models change with each account type: The 1-step has 3% daily trailing drawdown and a 6% trailing maximum; The QT Instant uses the same 3% daily trailing drawdown, 6% trailing maximum drawdown. The 2-step and 2-step Elite use 4% static daily drawdown, 10% static maximum drawdown; The QT Power use 4% daily drawdown tied to initial balance, 8% static maximum drawdown.

EAs are allowed with the pre-approval add-on feature for all accounts except QT Power, but third-party EAs aren’t and execution issues remain with the trader. News trading restriction has a 10 minute period before high impact news and after the event has occurred, and profits gained in this period are counted as a hard breach.

In all, the rules are straightforward and are clear to follow, and if you have read this review you should be well aware of what’s in store before you have anything.

How hard is the QT Funded Challenge? (Difficulty vs. Industry Standards)

We designed a simple mechanism to understand how difficult the QT Funded challenge really is. It doesn’t only focus on profit targets. Instead, it takes into account all that truly matters, like drawdown limits, leverage, trading days and if consistency rules exist or not. We also take into account real market conditions like news trading, EAs, and overnight holding periods. All of the factors combine into a single, easy-to-understand score so you can better evaluate how difficult it is prior to purchase.

Very Low Difficulty Low Difficulty Moderate Difficulty High Difficulty Extreme Difficulty

1-Step Challenge: The 1-step challenge is graded as of moderate difficulty by the scores defined by FXEmpire difficulty rating sheet. The difficulty is mostly driven by the trailing drawdown and the 20% consistency rules in the funded stage.

2-Step Challenge: 2-Step Challenge is ranked in the ‘very low’ category for the difficulty levels on the FXEmpire rating scale. They are unique for having one of the cheapest prices, no consistency rule, and a fair risk structure with a static max drawdown. However, they impose a profit cap and require a minimum of 2+ winning days with each at a profit of 0.5% each per cycle to unlock withdrawal.

2-Step Elite Challenge: The 2-step Elite challenge according to the Fxempire challenge difficulty rating is an “easy” challenge. It demands a profit target of 7% for step 1 and 5% for step 2. With daily drawdowns of 4% and maximum drawdowns of 10%. However, it doesn’t involve the consistency rule or the profit maximum which means there’s no “ceiling” on what you can withdraw or attain.

QT Power Challenge: The difficulty rating given to the QT Power Challenge by FXEmpire is ‘Very Low’ making it arguably the cheapest of the multiphase accounts available at QT Funded at the moment as it only starts from $28 on a 5k account (cheaper than their own two-phase). There’s a 35% consistency rule here which is enforced on the challenge and funded stages of the account. On the positive side though the account is much more lenient, there’s no news trading and there’s also no profit cap. You get a huge 8% maximum drawdown here, which gives you a lot more breathing room than a number of the standard trailing max drawdowns of 6% that you see on their one phase and instant funded accounts.

Flexibility: The part that truly shines at QT Funded is the flexibility without compromising structure and difficulty. Traders are free to day, swing and scalp and can hold positions overnight and on weekends throughout the evaluation and funded phases. There is leverage of up to 1:50 on Forex accounts and 1:100 on the QT power account. EAs are permitted (but require approval via an add-on). Copy trading is also allowed. There are no consistency rules at all on the 2-step and 2-step elite, 25% consistency rule applies to instant and 1-step on funded (20%), however none on the evaluation stage of the 2-step and 1-step. QT power has 35% consistency on both phases.

QT Funded Trading Rules by Strategy

Most prop firms claim they accept all types of strategies, but the fine print typically disclaims this claim. QT Funded is easy to grasp, as you can trade manually in a day and/or swing trading approach, particularly if risk management and discipline are adhered to, and is copy trading limited to your personal account. It’s a relatively controlled trading system rather than a highly automated/aggressive one.

QT Funded prohibits news trading on funded accounts for 2-Step, 2-Step Elite, & 1-Step accounts. News trading is fully permitted during the challenge on these accounts. Once funded, you are NOT permitted to open or close any trades within 5 minutes before or after any high impact news event. This constitutes a 10-minute news trading restriction. There is no challenge on the QT Instant account and therefore news trading restrictions apply on day one.

During news trading restrictions on restricted accounts, orders can be adjusted (stop loss, take profit levels) and cancelled. If an order is placed or closed during news trading hours, you will receive a hard breach and lose your Payout Promise. Events which are included under news trading restrictions are Red Folder release events and any event listed as prohibited on your QT Funded dashboard calendar. The QT Power account is the only account that has no news trading restriction on either the challenge or the funded account, and you can trade freely during these periods.

Overnight/weekend holding is permitted at all levels. Pay attention to overnight swap costs and widened weekend spreads as these can be silent killers of your profit.  A concept that many swing traders fail to notice: if your stop loss or take profit level is hit when the market is closed over the weekend, the position will not be closed at that price; instead, it will be closed at the next available price on the open of the market on Monday. If you need a swap-free account with extras, then only for the QT instant, 2-step & 2-step elite accounts, this add-on facility may be available.

This strategy is permitted fully across the QT Funded platform. There is no minimum hold time, meaning fast entry and exits are entirely permissible. Tick scalping is not permitted (which is what every funded account should be doing to stop people taking advantage of the execution speed). If you are a skilled scalper and not trying to beat the execution speed, you are good to go.

Day Trading is allowed in all accounts offered at QT Funded. Leverage in 2-Step and 2-Step Elite will be 1:50 which is equal to that of 1-Step and Instant accounts. On the QT Power account it is 1:100. Having 70+ different markets in forex, crypto, metals, indices and commodities allows active traders sufficient freedom to navigate markets.

Like many other firms EA’s are not permitted unless you have pre-approval with add-on functionality across all account types, with the exception of the QT Power account.

I think one the biggest advantages you get with QT funded is that it allows traders to copy their own strategy to other accounts. Any web-based and software-based trade copiers are permitted after having requested approval from QT Funded, though every single trade made via a copier must have a displayed stop loss and/or take profit on the QT Funded account. If any identical strategies exceed the $300,000 maximum capital allocation cap across the accounts used, they may face suspension, so each account should mirror your personal strategy independently.

The firm provides you with 70 instruments in forex, crypto, indices, metals, and commodities from a single account, which is actually quite convenient.

Price

4.7
How Did We Rate the Firm's Price?
Challenge cost is a key factor in assessing a prop firm's overall value. In this category, we evaluate how much trading capital a trader receives relative to their entry fee by analyzing the price-to-capital ratio across one-step, two-step, and three-step challenges. To determine whether a firm offers good value for money, we use a simple formula that shows how much trading capital is provided for every 1% of the entry fee paid:
Capital Efficiency = Sum of All Account Balances / Sum of All Challenge Fee
Chart

QT is clearly transparent about their pricing in their various programs, and they are offering good value against the capital provided. Entry cost for the QT Power Challenge starts at just $28 and this represents a sensible entry point to trading with a well-defined offering.

Four of the five challenges outperform the industry standard when looking at real capital against dollar value, which is good all around. The 2-Step, at $23.15 against a $14.39 benchmark, takes the lead providing significantly more usable capital than the industry average for each dollar invested. QT Power is next at $19.28 (again, against $14.39) followed by the 1-Step at $8.47 (vs $7.9) and the Instant at $8.35 (vs $4.98), which nearly doubles the industry standard. Only the 2-Step Elite underperforms in this regard, due to its higher cost ($11.89 vs $14.39).

$200K $813 (24.60 per $1) $1544 (12.95 per $1)

This table shows per-account capital efficiency. The overall TCPD weighted average across all account sizes is discussed below.

How Do We Assess the Competitiveness of the Firm’s Costs?

True Capital per Dollar (TCPD)

With QT Funded, your account balances are made to look bigger than they actually are. If you have a $100K account but it has a 10% maximum draw down, you only have $10,000 to play with until you reach your maximum draw down limit. The remaining is just a number on the screen. How much you actually have available to you has absolutely nothing to do with how large your account balance is and everything to do with what your maximum draw down limit is.

TCPD breaks that and you can see how much actual, utilizable capital you are receiving per dollar spent.

Formula: TCPD = (Account Size × Max Drawdown %) / Challenge Price

Account Max DD Price TCPD
$100K 10% USD 447 $22.37 per $1
$50K 10% USD 228 $21.92 per $1

Just because a firm charges less for a challenge does not mean that it is a good value. TCPD cleans out the fluff and allows you to see how much of the “working capital” you are actually getting for your buck. The higher the number, the more trading room you are getting for your money, and this is really all that matters when comparing firms.

QT Funded Cost Competitiveness vs. Industry Benchmark

Challenge Type Funded Drawdown Average Funding per Dollar Industry Benchmark
Instant 6% Trailing $8.35 $4.98
1-Step 6% Trailing $8.47 $7.9
2-Step 10% Static $23.15 $14.39
2-Step Elite 10% Static $11.89 $14.39
QT Power 8% Static  $19.28 $14.39

Refund Policies

QT Funded does not give refunds generally after an account has been bought, but at checkout there is an optional add on refund that a trader gets to enjoy a complete refund of the challenge price at their first payout, although it is important that you know that this add on refund at the first payout only applies to accounts that are of the following type: 2-Step standard, 2-Step Elite, Instant, 1-Step. It doesn’t apply to QT Power accounts.

Besides this, QT Funded has the Payout Promise where it acts as an insurance policy if a trader breaches a non-prohibited rule. You get to claim 10% of the accumulated profit prior to the breach or the cost of the whole challenge whichever one is bigger after the breach of non-prohibited rule. The trader will also be granted a phase 1 account reset to try again, but this will not be applied to instant-funded accounts. Each trader only gets up to a maximum of 3 payout promises; once all 3 have been used, any violation afterwards will cause a forfeit of any profits and termination of the account.

Trading Conditions

4.2
How Did We Rate the Firm's Conditions?
Trading conditions are the rules of the game. Understanding them is essential because it directly impacts strategy selection, trade timing, and risk management. To evaluate the full scope of a firm's trading conditions, we examined key elements such as trading fees (including spreads, commissions, and swap fees), available trading platforms, the range of tradable instruments, and the leverage offered. We also reviewed any prohibited trading styles and the presence of a consistency rule, if applicable. In addition, our assessment covered the conditions applied to funded accounts, scaling programs, inactivity policies, and the availability of demo accounts and Islamic (swap-free) accounts.
Chart

Overall: Overall QT Funded trading conditions are decent enough. Spreads for EUR/USD were around 0.6 pips at the time of our review and the $4 commission per round is charged on all assets.

Key finding: There is no consistency rule for the 2-Step and Elite accounts; this should give the trader freedom to experiment with trading strategies. Consistency rules are applicable to Instant (25%), 1-Step (20%), and QT Power (35%).

Key positive: The firm offers the choice of three platforms (MT5, cTrader, and TradeLocker), which cater to the preferences of most users. Major currency pairs showed very smooth execution without slippage in our test;

Key limitation: News trading is forbidden for 10 min during any active funded account (excluding QT Power), and the 1-step and 2-step have a 5% profit cap for each cycle. An exposure rule will also apply for every account: total open trade risk cannot exceed 75% of the daily drawdown allowance in evaluation mode and 50% of it when active in the funded model.

Best for: Traders who use a strict strategy over the London and NY sessions, do not require a consistency rule on their 2-step or 2-step Elite account, and require the flexibility to hold positions overnight and over the weekend without being required to close out before the market closes.

Trading Test

I tried the QT Funded 2-step $50k challenge after purchasing it and ran it through the London and New York sessions on MT5.

In terms of execution the system ran smoothly and I had no slippage on majors. The dashboard is nice and clean. It tells you how much daily and total drawdown you have available. It comes with a live economic calendar on the dashboard where you are told what news is coming up before the session starts. They support MT5, TradeLocker and cTrader. They have competitive spreads on 70+ instruments which range from Forex to indices to metals and crypto.

The firm has several drawbacks as well. All news trading can only occur within 5 minutes before and after a high-impact event, and this will therefore impact the event-driven strategies. The 1-Step and 2-Step have a maximum profit per payout cycle of 5%. The consistency requirements for the QT Instant account and 1-Step account are 25% and 20%, respectively, and the QT Power account has a consistency of 35% through the entire challenge and funded account.

Leverage

The amounts of leverage QT Funded provides vary with the account type and asset class. All types of assets have the same leverage levels throughout the evaluation and funding stage. Here’s a clear table:

Assets QT Power All Other Accounts (2-Step, 2-Step Elite, 1-Step, Instant)
FX 1:100 1:50
Crypto 1:2.5 1:1
Indices 1:35 1:15
Metals 1:35 1:15
Energy 1:15 1:15
Other Commodities 1:35 1:15

Trading Fees

I personally think that the cost structure maintained by QT Funded is straightforward and transparent, with no hidden costs. As we see Forex, commodities, and crypto have commissions included, oil products are commission-free, and there are no other charges to pay. While generally, the spreads maintained on the majority of products are decent, except for WTI. While there is an overnight swap for the majority of products, sometimes a swap-free account could be available through add-ons only for those that require, for the QT instant, 2-step & 2-step elite.

QT Funded Accounts

QT Funded is commission-based in every asset class it offers; indices, Forex, metals, and crypto have a commission of zero for the instrument oil, along with reasonable raw spreads. The pricing is very clear, especially for active traders who want to know the costs in detail rather than being charged with the spread alone.

Spreads

I have individually examined QT funded spreads on a 2-step $50K MT5 account and compared them against industry averages. Spreads account for a large portion of the total trading expenses and I have taken a look to see where QT stacks up against its competitors. I observed that during my testing, the spreads were generally tight across the vast majority of instruments. Another crucial point is that 2-Step and 2-Step Elite accounts are able to take variable spreads (for free) when selecting this option from the add on during checkout.

I saw an average of 0.6 pips on EUR/USD, which is much higher than the industry average of 0.2 pips, yet for the US30 and Gold spreads, I saw 1.1 points and 21 cents, respectively, and these both are lower than the average for the instruments, while BTCUSD was observed at $6.1 and the industry average is $27, and an average WTI spread of 0.037 was slightly below by the industry average.

Instruments QT Funded Spreads Industry Average
EUR/USD 0.6 pips 0.2 pips
BTCUSD $6.1 $27
WTI 0.037 points 0.047 points
GOLD 21 cents 26 cents
US30 1.1 points 2.2 points

Commissions

All instruments have a commission rate of $4 per lot, with the exception of oil instruments which are commission free. On the whole, the fee system is transparent and straightforward without any obscure costs to suddenly eat into the trading account.

Instruments QT Account (Round Trip) Industry Average (Round Trip)
Forex $4 round trip $4 round trip
Crypto $4 round trip $31 round trip
Indices $4 round trip $4 round trip
Metals $4 round trip $4 round trip
Commodities $4 round trip $5.8 round trip

Swap Fees

Swap charges apply for positions kept overnight. QT Funded also has options to make your accounts swap-free, and they are added when completing the checkout for the QT Instant, 2-Step & 2-Step Elite accounts. If you want to keep your overnight interest charge off your account, then simply check this option when purchasing your account; you will be charged an extra small fee for this.

Overall Trading Fees

Instruments Trading Fee Industry average
EUR/USD $10 $6
BTC $10.10 $58
WTI $3.70 $4.70
GOLD $25 $30
US30 $5.10 $6.20

Prohibited Trading Styles

This is a brief summary of prohibited trading styles within QT Funded. It outlines the factors that would flag an account or result in a violation and how not to. This will help the trader prevent issues before they actually trade.

Strategy QT Funded Interpretation
Hedging & Coordination Tactics It is not allowed to bet on one account long, and at the same time on another account short or to bet as a group in order to make money on the system. All reverse bets, or one-sided bets, fall into this category.
Taking Advantage of Unrealistic Market Conditions Taking advantage of obviously incorrect pricing, wrong fills, or misquotes is against the rules. This includes, but is not limited to: arbitration, latency trading, front-running feeds and all forms of mispricing to the participants.
High-Frequency & Manipulative Activity High-Frequency Trading or “Tick scalping” are not allowed, which includes ‘spimming the order book’ as well as entering too many orders or ‘server flooding’ through aggressive use of an algorithm.
Toxic Trading Behaviour Any form of activity the Risk department deems manipulative, abusive or disruptive. Notification of detection will be given should this be flagged by the Risk Department.
All-or-Nothing Trading Approach Trading without any stop loss, staying in trades with very important news, without any stop loss, taking more than 75% of your daily drawdown in one position and inconsistent money management are not allowed as it put the account in serious danger.
Reverse Trading Taking long position in one account and short in another account in the same market is defined as reverse trading. Opposed positions cannot be taken on the same market, in different accounts, for more than two minutes or more than three times without regard to how long the positions are held.
Breach Policy A hard breach will occur if you go over the allocation limit for 300k or if you are trading the same asset at 300k allocation across different funded accounts at the same time. The same rule will also apply to the 100k instant allocation limit. Hard breaches are not covered by the Payout Promise.
Additional Restrictions While at the 300k allocation limit, it is not allowed to simultaneously trade the same currency pair on more than one funded account. This restriction also applies to the 100k Instant allocation limit.
News Trading There is a 5 minute trade blackout before and after any high impact news release, which prohibits all trades (opening and closing) at the mentioned time window for any account type.

Tradable Instruments

Having a strong selection of instruments is more significant than a great number of traders realize; it’s not purely about options but more about adaptable circumstances changing. QT Funded offers 70 instruments available over the forex markets, index markets, commodities, and crypto across MT5, cTrader, and TradeLocker. Please be aware that the availability can vary as per the platform.

Instruments Number Examples
Forex 37 EURUSD | GBPUSD
Indices 13 US30 | NAS100
Commodities 5 XAUUSD | COCOA
Cryptocurrencies 15 BTCUSD | ETHUSD

Trading Platforms and Tools

QT Funded offers 3 platforms: MT5, cTrader & TradeLocker. For traders who require the ability to use custom indicators or automated systems, MT5 would be the best platform. If you prefer to retain manual trading executions, the optimum trading platform would be cTrader. And if you would rather take pleasure in your online based trade activities without the requirement to download and install any software program, your optimal trading platform would certainly be TradeLocker.

For most of the instruments, access is provided to all three platforms, but always check whether it includes the ones that you wish to trade on. Note that depending on your location access to the platforms might not be available. Canadians and Americans don’t have access to MT5 and Americans can’t access cTrader either. TradeLocker would therefore be the only possible option in America and this should be taken into account.

Islamic (Swap-free) Account

QT Funded also provides traders with the possibility of using swap-free accounts. Swap free accounts may be available as an add-on when purchased with an option with QT Instant, 2-step & 2-step elite only. You cannot solely trade on an ‘Islamic account’; however, the option does exist for anyone who requires it. The underlying trading conditions would not change, meaning you do not sacrifice any form of execution, platform, or flexibility, but at a minor additional payment while purchasing the challenge. The additional charge should be acceptable for most traders, and at the end of it you are able to trade as if you do not have any overnight swaps to worry about.

Demo Account

Currently, there are no free trial accounts at QT Funded, which may be something to consider for traders wanting to check out the system and try strategies before depositing funds. However, a spread-checking account is available to check the spread.

Inactivity

To ensure traders can remain logged in, they must enter into at least one trade within every 14-day period. Any trades put into operation must remain open for at least one minute in order to be valid, or it will not be included within the period. Otherwise, the traders’ accounts will be deactivated. One consideration that is worthy of noting is that if any trade is running in the trader’s account, then the account is still open until such a trade has closed.

QT Funded allows overnight holding in both evaluation and funded stages. The trading practices such as arbitrage, tick scalping (trades under 60 seconds), and manipulative trading are strictly prohibited by the firm. They have consistent and transparent rules for their evaluation and funding stages, which helps reduce pressure and keeps traders focused on execution.

Consistency Rule

Not having a consistency rule at all would be a massive advantage for a trader, and QT Funded would be somewhere in the middle of that scale. With the 2-Step and 2-Step Elite accounts, you do not need to worry about a consistency rule at all. However, that isn’t for all accounts. Their Instant Funding account does have a 25% consistency rule, while their 1-Step account does not have one for the challenge phase but a 20% one once funded. Their QT Power account has a 35% consistency rule, both in the evaluation phase and the funded phase. It isn’t the most restrictive in the business, but it is something that needs to be accounted for ahead of time rather than once you are already at the funded phase.

KYC (Know Your Customer)

Sumsub processes KYC, and the procedures managed by QT Funded are quite easygoing compared to firms that do their own KYC in-house. A valid government ID (passport, driving license or national ID card) is required, along with proof of address that is no more than 3 months old.

You will also need to perform a short liveness check that will consist of a slow head turn in front of the camera, where Sumsub verifies that your identity is that of the person submitting the documents. Traders are usually able to pass this stage easily, and if a problem does arise, Sumsub will specify the problem instead of presenting a generic error.

Payouts

4.7
How Did We Rate the Firm's Payouts?
To evaluate a prop firm's payout structure, we looked at more than just the profit split. We analyzed the profit-sharing terms, along with any bonuses or promotional incentives offered to traders. Our assessment included a close review of payout frequency, the variety of available withdrawal methods, processing times, and any associated withdrawal fees. We also checked for specific conditions tied to first and minimum withdrawals, ensuring traders have transparent and fair access to their earnings.
Chart

QT Funded’s pay-outs are straightforward and rapid. I tried withdrawing through bank transfer during my test in Q2 2026 and had my funds in less than 24 hours, which is what the website promised. Accounts are withdrawable whenever they make a profit; no open positions are necessary.

There is the choice of crypto withdrawal, wire transfer, and QT Card withdrawal. Fees will be borne by the recipient. Withdrawal limits apply. Minimal withdrawals are $100 or 1% of profit, whichever is greater. For QT Instant Accounts, it is 5% of the profit margin.

For those who wish, weekly pay-outs are available for 2-Step and Instant only (via add-on) as a 7-day cycle. Elite and 1-step plans are biweekly, with no weekly payout add-on. For QT Power accounts, payouts are on demand. Your account is reset 24 hours after you receive a payout. Pay-out requests are normally processed within 24 business hours, and the day that you request a withdrawal is not taken into account in those 24 hours. Additional add-ons at check-out can also give you weekly payouts depending on your plan type.

One important point about QT Funded is that with QT Funded, some traders must have a mandatory risk interview. Not everyone has to complete a risk interview, but anyone who is required to must turn up to the meeting at the specific time requested. You will not be entitled to the payout if you miss the interview, but if you want to move your meeting, you must inform them 24 business hours prior.

In order to make a fairly realistic evaluation of QT Funded and how they handle pay-outs, I trawled their discord server throughout April 2026 looking for disputes. There were no verified pay-out disputes by members of the community. In all the complaints and issues that did appear on their discord server, they were related to a misinterpretation of the rules or a problem with a trader account, not a pay-out. This is a crucial distinction in any evaluation of whether a firm is merely good at marketing or actually fair.

Profit Split

They can choose to withdraw their payouts bi-weekly after the first withdraw. They also have a feature to choose at the checkout for more and bigger payouts, which grants the trader real-time control over their financials with an add-on facility for quicker withdrawals with an 80% profit split add-on that pays them weekly after the add-on. The advantage on payouts is also given with the 90% profit split add-on on all challenges other than 1-step. The company provides additional add-ons that can speed up profit splits which are 90% by default, QT power is on-demand. When on a funded account, the initial is an 80/20 profit split which can be upgraded on demand to 90% with an add-on.

Support

3.4
How Did We Rate the Firm's Support?
In this category, we evaluated the availability and responsiveness of customer support, including the number of contact channels offered—such as live chat, email, and messaging apps. We tested each channel to assess response time, helpfulness, and overall support quality. We also assessed the firm's commitment to trader education by reviewing the range and quality of available learning materials. This included videos, articles, eBooks, webinars, and structured courses aimed at helping traders grow their skills and knowledge.
Chart

-Overall: The support at QT Funded is friendly and responsive, providing traders with prompt answers to questions.

-Key Finding: There’s no doubt you’ll get your support on time, as both their email and Discord help sections are 24/7 accessible.

-Key positive: When you ask a question, you receive an answer tailored to it and not templated or off a script.

-Key limitation: No telephone support is offered. Urgently needed traders will have to use either Discord or email.

Best for: Traders who are only interested in fast, short answers and have little time to skim extensive documents.

QT Funded offers 24/7 support by submitting a support request through their form, their Discord server, and also via email. My own experience with QT Funded support on both e-mail and Discord was helpful, answering my questions and providing necessary information when I asked about evaluation payout time and fund releases. They are also quick with problems and very easy to communicate with and get information from when it is needed, either online or by e-mail.

Customer Support Channels

Support Test

I contacted QT Funded through Discord and email to ask questions regarding technical issues. Their response time was within a reasonable period on all channels, which sets a standard, and we know that their answers would be informative, which they always were. The answers received were clear and precise, and that is an indicator that they are performing as well as most prop firms of this size cannot reach.

Education

QT Funded also offers much more than what can be considered ‘standard’ support, which genuinely helps the traders develop. There are several blog posts, analytical tools, coaching resources, and guides on trading psychology, strategy tips, and market knowledge. QT Funded is very generous in giving useful guides and strategy tips, market analysis, and tutorials on their YouTube channel. This help will make an enormous difference for traders seeking funding.

The Bottom Line

After spending time on the QT-funded platform, I can see they have constructed something relatively good in not much time, but not without flaws. Their choice of three platforms – MT5, cTrader, and TradeLocker – makes them an appealing choice to many, and the route to get funded on their 2-step is simple. Payouts can take up to 24 hours, and in my test, the withdrawal went through as it should have.

There are, however, a couple of real drawbacks that you should know about before going into business with them. For example, their 1-step has a 5% cap on profits, which can not ever be removed, and their Instant, 1-step, and QT Power accounts have consistency rules that do add a barrier to free trading. Trading during news events is not permitted, at least without a grace period, and a risk interview can be requested before withdrawal.

They also have good trading conditions as well. Leverage on forex on standard accounts is up to 1:50, and QT Power has leverage of up to 1:100 and access to 70 instruments across forex, crypto, indices, metals, and commodities; overnight and weekend holding are allowed on all accounts except crypto, which is prohibited during the weekend; profit split is as low as 80% with the possibility of up to 90% profit split (via an add-on available only on the 2-step, 2-step elite, and instant accounts). 1-step and QT Power have a fixed 80% split, and you can select between swap and swap-free accounts, which may be available on certain add-ons for the QT instant, 2-step, and 2-step elite.

The QT-funded account is an acceptable option for traders looking for clean rules and guidelines rather than highly automated or news-driven trading strategies, just go in with expectations.
