I have been testing and reviewing prop firms over the years, and in my opinion, SabioTrade is not like a conventional CFD prop firm but something unique. The challenge structure and drawdown rules feel very similar to a futures prop firm, which is normally more risk-conscious. As part of my evaluation to see what sort of conditions they give for trading and what the platform looks like. I bought their $50K Plus challenge to analyze how rules work under real trading conditions. I tested spreads, slippage, and execution in both high liquidity periods of (London – NYC overlap) and low liquidity early Asian sessions.
The unique thing with SabioTrade is their Traders Academy and the whole suite of Education for beginner traders. They have a good challenge offering as well – although everything is one step it still has plenty of variety to cover almost all types of traders. Although there’s no scaling plan, their programs range from $20K to $1M and also have dedicated plans for day trading so you can still trade with high volumes.
Overall, SabioTrade has a good payout structure, as it provides a profit split ranging from 80% to 95% (as per challenge type). Traders can request payouts on a weekly basis, and it is processed within 24 hours, which I think is better than most of the firms out there.
A couple of rules that I felt were a little restrictive for traders are the 40% consistency rule (evaluation phase), the prohibition on scalping, and the trailing drawdown. Besides this, there are some plans that are visible on the checkout page and cannot be found on the website’s main page of plans so you have to look a bit to find the firm’s whole offering.

I think Sabio has built a good trust and credibility in the prop space and as a trader you can count on them. That being said if you go into their Trust Pilot page you’ll notice their score is low, 3.5/5, and there are some valid user complaints. They do a pretty good job of replying to concerns which is comforting but you should definitely still be doing due diligence.
Sabio has been operating since 2023 and at this point I would expect to see some more market and user trust but also understand it takes time to build a solid reputation. Part of their efforts I can see are geared towards a complete trader’s academy and education guides, which shows they really want to improve traders’ journeys and care about long term success. One of the biggest issues that needs to be worked on is probably their customer support communication because rules can be tricky to understand and also if you’re in the middle of a session a long reply time could really mess you up.
They do have a record of paying out to traders (we validated through socials and Discord) which is essential for trust and they could really take it to the level step if they added a live payment tracker.
SabioTrade is registered as an IT company in Dublin, Ireland, under company number 680139. They have been running since 2023 with a team of around 50 people. That is a reasonable setup and shows the business is properly structured. They have a proprietary trading platform powered by QuadCode technology, which is accessible via their traders’ dashboard. It has a desktop and mobile version as well (I personally tested on the desktop dashboard). The firm has also won Best Prop Firm at the London Trader Show 2025 and has been featured by Forbes and Yahoo Finance. The firm also has a dedicated website to onboard USA clients (sabiotrade.us) – which ensures the company is completely aligned with local rules and regulations, especially with the CFTC in the USA.
Currently, SabioTrade is holding a rating of 3.5 out of 5 across 700+ reviews, which is below average for the prop firm space and does show that there are genuine user concerns. On the other hand, the team is doing a good job of responding personally to these concerns and most of the verified reviews are actually good which suggests that they do have a balance. For example, let’s take the latest and verified review from RT. Shenoy. (Check Date: 28 May, 2026)
Whenever I review a prop firm, I mainly focus on the payouts and trading rules, as these are the primary factors to assess the transparency of a firm. I personally think SabioTrade has done a good job of documenting their rules for trading with some exceptions that i needed to ask support to clarify. Most everything is clear from the drawdown mechanics to the consistency rules, as they have shown real examples. I also joined their Discord and social media channels to verify whether the firm is paying out or not, or if there are any concerns from traders as well as to ask for clarifications on copy trading and the funded stages. I found mixed feedback there and got fairly quick responses from support, and I conclude that, like any other firm, there’s room for improvement – especially if they can have a live payout tracker.
I found the website and FAQ section to be smooth and easy to navigate from a UI/UX perspective. All the rules are clearly stated and easy to navigate without juggling different pages of the website. They have mentioned everything upfront with clear wording and examples for drawdown calculations, leverage, consistency rules, and scalping (with the few exceptions mentioned above). They also have a 7-day free trial to have a real-time experience.
Restricted Strategies: To prevent cheating, SabioTrade has listed all the prohibited strategies clearly in the trading rules and FAQ. So the strategies include HFT, scalping, mirror trading, hedging (including cross-account hedging), and all-in trading. Automated trading tools are not permitted by default but can be used after receiving prior written approval from SabioTrade. These rules apply across all plans at both the evaluation and funded stages.
News Trading Rules: One thing that I really like about the SabioTrade is that it allows news trading without any restriction in both evaluation and funded phases across all programs (as long as it’s within reason and not gambling behavior). That means traders can open and close trades freely around any high-impact news event at any stage. This is a big plus for news traders that they can trade freely during news events without any profit caps, time windows, or penalties.
Consistency Rule: The firm has a 40% consistency rule that applies to all their plans during the evaluation stage only. This is kind of unusual but a very welcome perk to not have to deal with the rule also in the funded stage. There is one important thing to know for traders before planning their strategy: the rule works in two ways simultaneously. No single trade and no single trading day can account for more than 40% of your total profit. Both limits are independent of each other, meaning you need to manage your results across both dimensions at the same time throughout the evaluation. If either threshold is breached, your profit target is dynamically raised rather than your account being failed outright.
For example, if your best single trading day produces $500 on a $1,000 profit target, your new required total becomes $1,250 ($500 ÷ 0.4). Once you reach the funded stage, this rule no longer applies as an ongoing mechanism for raising the targets.
Minimum Trading Days: There’s no minimum trading day requirement, but due to the consistency rule, by default, a trader can’t progress without trading for at least three days.
I joined Discord and social media channels to verify whether they are giving out payouts or not and found mixed feedback. Payout rules are pretty clear, as they can be requested every 7 days and are processed within 24 hours. But there is no place from where I can track them in real time (like we do on Payout Junction or PropFirm Match) – so I think that (payout tracker) would be a great initiative in terms of transparency.
Website: I think SabioTrade’s website is decent. It covers the basics pretty well with the challenges and rules. The UI/UX is good. All of the rules and program details are easy to locate. However, I did find a few issues, like some challenges, such as VIP Pro, Supreme, and day trading plans, were on the checkout pages but not on the main page. I also saw that on the website, live chat is unavailable. However, once traders log into the Trade Room, where they manage their trading activities, they will have access to WhatsApp and live chat, where they can send their queries live.
Social Media: SabioTrade has a decent presence across multiple social platforms, which adds to its transparency and community engagement. The firm has over 93.7K YouTube subscribers with over 500 videos guiding them about the firm’s rules and challenges, and 15K followers on Instagram. It also maintains smaller but active communities on Twitter, Facebook, and Discord. Verified payout posts and active discussions across these platforms help reinforce overall trust and transparency around the firm.
Risk Management: I spent time inside the dashboard during my testing, and the risk tracking is genuinely well built. The dashboard is clean, and rules are upfront. Daily loss limits and trailing drawdowns update in real time, so you always know exactly where you stand. Tariff plans run a 5% daily loss limit with a 6% maximum trailing drawdown across every tier, from the $20K Essential all the way up to the $1M Supreme. Pro plans carry the same conditions. Day Trading accounts are a bit tighter with a 4% daily loss limit and 5% maximum trailing drawdown across all five plans. Personally, I think the Day Trading parameters make sense given the higher leverage and intraday nature of those accounts. The Tariff limits are workable, but you do need a clear risk plan going in.
Traders must understand the Max Trailing rule before designing their strategy because after the first payout, equity must always remain above the initial account balance at all times. It means that the trailing drawdown floor locks in permanently at the starting balance once the first withdrawal has been made. High-risk strategies, including HFT, scalping, and hedging, are prohibited. Automated systems require prior written approval from SabioTrade before use. So, the overall structure is designed to promote disciplined, consistent trading.
What I really like and appreciate about SabioTrade is that it does not box traders into one type of challenge. There are three distinct categories, and each one serves a different kind of trader.
The Tariff Plan category covers seven account tiers from $20K Essential up to $1M Supreme. All seven run a single-phase, one-step evaluation with the same core rules of 10% profit target, 5% daily loss (EOD balance-based), 6% maximum trailing drawdown, and a 40% consistency rule during the evaluation stage only.
Then there are the PRO Packages which come in 3-month and 12-month options. These give traders multiple $20K accounts bundled together at a lower combined cost, which works well if you want more attempts without paying full price each time.
The third category is Day Trading with five dedicated accounts. These accounts include Flash, Blaze, Daybreak, Surge, and Apex. These are built for intraday traders specifically. The profit target is higher at 12%, the daily loss limit is tighter at 4%, leverage goes up to 1:100, and all positions close automatically at the end of each session, so there is no overnight exposure at all.
I think overall rules are consistent and transparent across all plans. They are pretty clear and flexible as they allow traders to hold trades over weekends (except day trading plans) and during news (without any restriction). However, trading with automated systems is not allowed by default, but traders can apply for prior written approval from SabioTrade and can use them.

Profit Target: To pass the evaluation phase, you need to hit 10% profit on your closed balance. Open trades do not count. Close everything, and the system will verify your pass. If you hit the target but the consistency rule is not met yet, keep trading until both are satisfied.
Daily Loss Limit: You cannot lose more than 5% of the previous day’s closing balance in a single day. SabioTrade locks your balance at 00:00 UTC each night, and that is what the 5% is based on. If your closing balance was $100,000, keep your equity above $95,000 the next day.
Max Trailing Drawdown: Your equity must never fall more than 6% of your starting account balance below your highest closing balance. On a $100,000 account, that means a maximum drawdown of $6,000. As your account grows, the floor moves up with it, but the drawdown amount remains fixed from your starting balance.
Post-Payout Rule: After your first payout, your equity must always stay above your starting account balance. That floor never moves.
Day trading accounts have a 12% profit target, with a 4% daily loss limit and a 5% maximum trailing drawdown. Check your plan conditions before purchasing.
We have developed a challenge difficulty metric at FXEmpire to give traders a clearer picture of what they are signing up for. Rather than focusing solely on profit targets, it weighs the full ruleset, including drawdowns, leverage, consistency rules, trading restrictions, automated trading strategies, and holding policies. By following all these, we combined everything into a single difficulty score.
| Very Low Difficulty | Low Difficulty | Moderate Difficulty | High Difficulty | Extreme Difficulty |
|---|
Tariff Plans (Essential, Plus, Advanced, VIP Pro, Ultimate, Prime, Supreme): Based on our benchmark, all Traiff plans fall into the moderate-difficulty category. A 10% profit target with a 6% maximum trailing drawdown and a 5% daily loss limit (EOD balance-based) creates a tighter risk-to-target ratio than many competing 1-step challenges. There is no minimum trading day requirement, no time limit, and no restriction on news, which eases the pressure somewhat. However, the 40% consistency rule (in the evaluation phase) and ban on scalping are slightly restrictive to traders.
Day Trading Plans (Flash, Blaze, Daybreak, Surge, Apex): Day trading accounts also fall into the moderate-difficulty category. The profit target is slightly higher at 12%, and the daily loss limit is tighter at 4%, but the 1:100 leverage provides significantly more room to work with compared to standard tariff plans. There is no minimum trading day requirement and no restriction on news, which keeps the pressure manageable. The intraday-only structure with auto-closing positions actually simplifies risk management for traders who prefer not to carry overnight exposure.
PRO Packages (3-Month and 12-Month): PRO plans also fall into the moderate-difficulty category, sharing the exact same rules as the tariff plans with a 10% profit target, 6% maximum trailing drawdown, and 5% daily loss limit. The only difference is that traders get 3 or 12 evaluation accounts bundled together instead of just one, making it a more cost-efficient route for multiple attempts

Flexibility: What stands out with SabioTrade is how flexible the ruleset is relative to most competitors. There is no stop loss requirement, minimum trading days, maximum trading days, or restriction on news, which allows for many strategies. It supports all types of traders, whether you are day trading, automated trading, or swing trading. However, scalping is explicitly prohibited, which might be an issue for ultra-short-term traders. Also, it has 40% consistency rules in the evaluation phase that might feel restrictive.
They also give a decent leverage to play with, which is consistent across all plans: 1:30 on forex, 1:25 on commodities, 1:20 on equities and ETFs, 1:3 on cryptocurrencies, and 1:100 on indices.
I researched the Sabio Trade rules by strategy and figured out that news trading is unrestricted, day trading and swing trading are well supported, and automated trading is accessible with prior written approval. However, scalping is outright banned, which is a real limitation since it is a legitimate strategy that many traders actually use.
What I really liked as a trader is that news trading is completely unrestricted across all plans and at both the evaluation and funded stages. In these terms, Sabio Trade is actually better than many prop firms that ban or restrict trading around major news events. There are no time windows, profit caps, or penalties. Traders can trade freely around any high-impact news event without worrying about the rules. This applies equally to Tariff, PRO, and Day Trading accounts.
You do need to keep in mind that gambling practices are not allowed, and if you are constantly placing trades before news events, then you could be in breach.
Swing trading is supported across all Tariff and PRO plans, with overnight and weekend holding allowed at every stage. The only exception is Day Trading accounts, where all positions auto-close at the end of the session by design, which makes them intraday-only. You can keep trades open overnight, but you’ll pay swap fees for doing so. Since SabioTrade doesn’t offer swap-free accounts, it’s important to consider these costs before holding trades. As for trading over the weekend, only some accounts allow this so you need to be careful in choosing. If you chose an account that does not allow for it then your trades need to be closed by Friday 13:45 EST.
For short-term traders who capture the small price movement and make a profit, this firm doesn’t suit them well. Scalping is explicitly prohibited across all plans and at every stage. This is one of SabioTrade’s most significant restrictions, as most competing firms permit at least standard scalping strategies.
Sabio Trade offers Day Trading across all plans without any time limit and a minimum trading days requirement. That said, the dedicated Day Trading accounts are what really caught my attention, and they are built specifically for intraday traders. Its account sizes range from $20K to $300K. Leverage on these accounts goes up to 1:100, which is considerably higher than the standard plans. All positions close automatically at the end of each session, so there is no overnight exposure and no swap fees to deal with on any of these accounts.
Automated trading is not permitted by default but can be used after receiving prior written approval from SabioTrade. This applies across all plans and both stages. Traders must submit their request before deploying any EA, bot, API, or trade copier. If any trader operates automated systems without prior approval, it is a direct breach of the trading rules and will result in account termination.
SabioTrade offers 288 instruments across forex, stocks, commodities, indices, ETFs, and cryptocurrencies, all accessible from a single account via the QuadCode platform. The inclusion of ETFs is a genuine differentiator, as most competing prop firms do not offer them. Leverage varies by asset class, so it is worth confirming the exact conditions for each instrument before building a multi-asset strategy.
I personally think the entry cost at SabioTrade varies quite a bit depending on which challenge category you go with. For Tariff challenges, pricing starts at $119 for the Essential plan ($20K simulated balance) and goes up to $5,989 for the Supreme plan ($1M simulated balance). The PRO Package offers a bundled route as PRO 3 Months at $259 gives you three accounts of $20K each, and PRO 12 Months at $829 gives you twelve, making it a cost-efficient option for traders who want multiple attempts. One more big plus that I really like about this plan is that it also includes Academy access.
For dedicated intraday traders, the Day Trading category starts at $95 for the Flash plan ($20K) and goes up to $2,889 for the Apex plan ($300K), with all Day Trading accounts offering 1:100 leverage and a 12% profit target.
When evaluated on a true capital per dollar basis, SabioTrade’s Tariff plans come in at 12.71, and the pro plan comes at 16.54, which is significantly above the industry benchmark of 7.9, indicating that traders are getting more usable capital for each dollar spent compared to other firms. While discussing the day trading accounts, it sits at $4.92 average, which is below the industry average.

This table shows per-account capital efficiency. The overall TCPD weighted average across all account sizes is discussed below
True Capital per Dollar (TCPD)
Notional value of account sizes can look more impressive than they are in practice. For example, if we have a $100K Advanced plan with a 6% max trailing drawdown, as a trader, you have only $6,000 of working room before hitting your limit. The $100K figure is simply the simulated balance on screen. The capital you can actually lose before termination is determined entirely by the drawdown limit, not the headline number.
TCPD cuts through that and shows how much real, usable capital you are getting for every dollar spent.
Formula: TCPD = (Account Size × Max Drawdown %) / Challenge Price
| Account | Max DD | Price | TCPD |
| $100K | 6% | USD 479 | $12.52 per $1 |
| $50K | 6% | USD 289 | $10.38 per $1 |
Normally we have seen traders get excited by just seeing the notional value but that’s the half truth – The real value is in the max drawdown allowed. TCPD strips out the noise and shows how much usable capital you’re actually getting per dollar spent. The higher the number, the more trading room you’re getting for your money, and that’s what actually matters when comparing firms.
| Challenge Type | Funded Drawdown | Average Funding per Dollar | Industry Benchmark |
| 1-Step Tariff Plans | 6% (Trailing) | $11.40 | $7.9 |
| 1-Step Pro Plans | 6% (Trailing) | $16.54 | $7.9 |
| 1-Step Day Trading Plans | 5% (Trailing) | $4.92 | $7.9 |
Normally, prop firms offer a refund of the challenge fee when traders pass the evaluation phase, which is a big advantage for traders, but Sabio Trade is different. As it does not offer the initial challenge fee refunded, which I think is a slight drawback. Similarly, once traders purchase a challenge account, they cannot request a refund, whether they placed any trades or not on the account. That’s why it is suggested to be careful and 100% sure about purchasing an account and spending your money wisely.
-Overall: SabioTrade offers a structured, education-focused simulated trading environment with consistent rules across all plans and a straightforward 1-step evaluation model.
-Key finding: Education and mentorship are solid, but you’re stuck with one challenge tier and no scaling plan, only a QuadCode-powered trading platform. Three distinct account categories that include Tariff plans, PRO Packages, and dedicated Day Trading accounts.
-Key positive: Unrestricted news trading, multiple tiered programs, and 288+ instruments to trade. Spreads are competitive on forex and crypto, zero commissions across all instruments & account types.
-Key limitation: Only a 1-step challenge, no scaling plan, no MetaTrader platform.
-Best for: Beginner traders who value education as much as evaluation. SabioTrade’s integrated Academy, mentorship, and PRO Club make it one of the few prop firms that genuinely invests in trader development, a meaningful differentiator for anyone looking to improve while they evaluate.
In starting, I was curious about the platform and placing trades under the real market conditions, so to see how good the firm really is, I tested it myself. I traded on a live challenge account. Normally, I trade on MetaTrader, but as Sabio only offers its proprietary platforms, it was initially difficult to figure out the layout and everything. Once I got familiar with the platform, things started to get smooth. The charting is clean, the SL and TP placement is straightforward, and switching between instruments is swift. I purchased a $50K Plus challenge and traded primarily during the London and New York overlap sessions.
I ran the account in May 2026. Markets were messy that month as geopolitical tensions and war news were hitting the global markets very hard. I ran the account through all of it. While trading, I mainly focused on the EUR/USD. Execution stayed clean the whole way, there were no requotes, lag, or anything that slowed me down. The fills were clean even during fast-moving sessions, which honestly surprised me given it is a proprietary platform. The spreads were tight, and there was no commission on trading.
SabioTrade operates on a spread-only model with no separate commission fees on any instrument. All trading costs are built into the spread, with no commission charged on forex or any other asset class.
SabioTrade applies the same leverage across both the evaluation and funded stages. The levels are consistent across all plans, regardless of tier. The table below breaks it down:
| Assets | Leverage |
| Forex | 1:30 |
| Equities (Stocks) | 1:20 |
| Commodities (e.g. Crude Oil, Gold) | 1:25 |
| Cryptocurrencies | 1:3 |
| Indices (e.g. S&P 500, DAX) | 1:100 |
| ETFs | 1:20 |
SabioTrade maintains a straightforward cost structure with no separate commission fees on any instrument; all costs are built into the spread. Traders can access Forex, stocks, commodities, indices, ETFs, and cryptocurrencies across all plans with no additional or unexpected fees charged.
Overnight swap fees apply on standard accounts depending on the instrument and holding duration. There is no swap-free or Islamic account option available, which is a limitation for traders who require interest-free overnight holding. The only way around this is opting for a Day Trading account, which auto-closes all positions at the end of the session and therefore incurs no overnight swap fees by design.
I checked the spreads on a $50K Plus account using the QuadCode-powered trading platform during the London session. Results were mixed. EUR/USD came in at 0.4 pips, slightly under the 0.8 pip industry average, so that’s fine for a spread-only model. BTCUSD was at $12.01 against a $35 industry average, which is genuinely competitive. The US30 at 3.2 points sits right around the 3.14-point benchmark, which is nothing special but nothing bad either. Gold was 45 cents against a 28-cent average, and WTI at 0.2 points was well above the 0.047-point benchmark. So crypto looks good, indices are average, and commodities are where it gets expensive.
| Instruments | SabioTrade Spreads | Industry Average |
| EUR/USD | 0.4 pips | 0.8 pips |
| BTCUSD | $12.01 | $35 |
| WTI | 0.2 points | 0.047 points |
| GOLD | 45 cents | 28 cents |
| US30 | 3.2 points | 3.14 points |
There are no commissions at SabioTrade, regardless of what you are trading or which plan you are on. Everything is spread only, meaning no per-lot or per-trade charges on any asset class, including forex, stocks, indices, ETFs, commodities, or crypto. It is a clean and straightforward cost structure that works in the trader’s favor.
| Instruments | SabioTrade Account (Round Turn) | Industry Average (Round Turn) |
| Forex | No Commission Charge | $0/Lot (Zero-commission instrument) |
| Crypto | No Commission Charge | $0/Lot (Zero-commission instrument) |
| Indices | No Commission Charge | $0/Lot (Zero-commission instrument) |
| Commodities | No Commission Charge | $0/Lot (Zero-commission instrument) |
Swap fees apply to positions held overnight on standard accounts. No swap-free or Islamic account option is available. However, SabioTrade offers intraday accounts that automatically close all positions at the end of the session, avoiding overnight swap exposure by design, a partial alternative for traders who prefer not to incur rollover costs.
Swap fees depend on the instrument and only apply to positions held overnight, so I kept them separate from this comparison. The only cost here is the spread, since SabioTrade charges zero commissions across the board. Overall, the results are mixed.
Crypto stands out as the strongest area. BTC came in well under the industry average, and EUR/USD is competitive too, sitting at roughly half the benchmark. US30 and Gold are slightly above their respective averages. WTI is the one to watch, though, as it runs noticeably higher than the industry standard, which matters if you trade commodities regularly.
| Instruments | Trading Fee | Industry average |
| EUR/USD | $4 | $8 |
| BTC | $12.01 | $35 |
| WTI | $20 | $4.70 |
| GOLD | $45 | $28 |
| US30 | $3.20 | $3.14 |
Here’s a quick look at the trading styles that SabioTrade does not allow, so it’s easy to see what could get traders flagged or trigger a breach and what’s safe to do. It helps to know the rules before getting started.
| Strategy | SabioTrade Interpretation |
| All-or-nothing Trading | Explicitly prohibited. Placing trades that consume an excessive portion of account margin is a direct breach of SabioTrade’s trading rules and will result in account termination. |
| Hedging Policies | Strictly prohibited, including cross-account hedging. Opening opposing positions on the same asset across multiple accounts, even accounts you own, will get the account flagged and terminated. |
| Restrictions to Prevent High-Frequency Trading | HFT is strictly prohibited across all plans. Unlike some firms that define HFT by a time threshold, SabioTrade bans it outright with no partial allowance, alongside scalping strategies, which are also explicitly prohibited. |
| Irresponsible Trading in Simulated Accounts | Running large positions without a clear strategy or ignoring basic risk management is treated as an abuse of the simulated environment. The consistency rule: no single trade or day exceeding 40% of total profit. It is partly designed to enforce disciplined, strategy-driven trading. |
| Latency & Arbitrage Exploitation | If you are trying to take advantage of pricing errors, system bugs, or execution delays to get an edge, SabioTrade will catch it and terminate your account. The platform is built to detect this. |
| Coordinated Trading | Trading in coordination with other people to manipulate results or get around risk limits is not allowed. This includes group hedging across multiple accounts, whether they are yours or someone else’s. |
| Account Sharing | Your account belongs to you and only you. Letting someone else trade it, or trading on another person’s account, is a straight violation of the terms and will get the account closed. |
| Gambling-Like Behavior | Throwing everything on one trade, going all-in repeatedly, or trading like you are placing bets rather than following a strategy is treated as platform abuse. SabioTrade expects disciplined, consistent trading, not casino-style behavior. |
SabioTrade offers access to 288+ trading instruments across forex, stocks, commodities, indices, ETFs, and cryptocurrencies, in line with the industry average and one of the decent selections available among prop firms. The inclusion of ETFs in particular is a differentiator, as most competing firms do not offer them. All instruments are accessible via the QuadCode-powered trading platform.
| Instruments | Number | Examples |
| Forex | 33 | EURUSD | GBPUSD |
| Indices | 12 | US30 | NAS100 |
| Commodities | 11 | COC0A | NGAS |
| Stocks | 188 | APPL | TESLA |
| Cryptocurrencies | 20 | BTCUSD | ETHUSD |
| ETFs | 24 | SPY | QQQ |
There are no MT4, MT5, or cTrader platforms, which are normally used in prop trading. SabioTrade operates exclusively on the QuadCode-powered trading platform, accessible via web dashboard and mobile app.
The platform is decent, but there’s a slight learning curve involved to get familiar with it. It is well-equipped for manual and automated trading, offering 100+ technical indicators, on-chart SL and TP, a newsfeed widget, Forex and earnings calendars, and a Traders’ Sentiment tool. However, the absence of platform choice is a meaningful limitation for traders who have built strategies around specific execution environments.
Although it’s a simulated environment, one drawback for Islamic Traders is that SabioTrade does not offer swap-free or Islamic account options. Traders who hold positions overnight on standard accounts will incur swap fees depending on the instrument and holding duration. This is a relevant limitation for traders following Islamic finance principles or swing traders who frequently carry positions overnight. The only way around this is to opt for a Day Trading account, which automatically closes all positions at the end of the session and therefore incurs no overnight swap fees by design.
SabioTrade is really the perfect match for beginner traders, with all the educational material it also provides a 7-day free trial account, giving traders the opportunity to explore the QuadCode-powered trading platform, test their strategy, and get familiar with the evaluation environment before committing real money.
The free trial does not carry over into the actual challenge; completing it does not qualify traders for a funded account or replace the paid evaluation. It is purely a preparation tool, but a useful one, particularly for traders who are new to prop firm environments or want to assess platform suitability before purchasing a plan.
SabioTrade accounts are subject to an inactivity rule. If no trades are placed within 30 consecutive days, the account may be deactivated. To keep it active, at least one trade must be placed within this period.

SabioTrade allows overnight and weekend holding across all plans at every stage. All trading must be executed manually. Automated systems are not allowed by default, but traders can use them with written approval from Sabio. Hedging, scalping, HFT, and mirror trading are also off-limits.
SabioTrade’s 40% consistency rule applies during the evaluation stage only and does not carry over into the funded stage. The rule covers two things at once, which is that no single trade and no single trading day can make up more than 40% of your total profit. If either limit is crossed, your profit target gets raised automatically rather than your account being closed. Keep your results spread across multiple trades and days throughout the evaluation, and you will be fine. You also need within that at least 5-7 trades of roughly the same size in order to pass.
SabioTrade does not offer a scaling plan; account conditions remain fixed throughout the program. Traders wanting a higher simulated balance must purchase a separate higher-tier plan outright.
SabioTrade may require KYC verification at any time. Accepted documents include a valid government-issued photo ID, passport, national ID card, or driver’s license, alongside proof of address in the form of a utility bill or bank statement issued within the last six months. Documents must be valid, clearly legible, and show the full name, date of birth, photograph, and issue date.
Account access is granted immediately after payment, so trading can begin without waiting for KYC to clear. Verification is required before any payout can be processed, so it is worth ensuring documents are in order early to avoid delays at the payout stage.
SabioTrade offers a straightforward payout structure. For the 1st payout, you can request it immediately once you meet all the conditions. After the 1st payout, the max drawdown will be adjusted to your initial account balance, and for the next payout, there must be a minimum of 7 days since the last payout, at least one new trade placement, and the account must be in good standing. There is no minimum withdrawal amount (which is a great benefit to traders). Payments are issued via bank transfer, cryptocurrency wallet, and Amaiz wallet for EU residents.
Payouts are processed within the 24-hour window after approval, with crypto reflecting within 3 business days and bank transfers within 3–5 business days, consistent with published timelines.
SabioTrade offers an 80% profit split on Essential, Plus, and PRO Package plans. For Advanced, VIP Pro, Ultimate, Prime, and Supreme, it offers 90%, applied from the first payout request with no scaling required. Day Trading accounts offer 90% across all plans except Apex, which tops out at 95%.
There is one important thing to know before starting the trading: If your account gets formally flagged by the Risk Management Team for high-risk behavior, things like excessive margin use, oversized positions, or trading that does not reflect sustainable risk management, or if you receive a documented warning for any rule violation, SabioTrade can reduce your split to 70%. It means the firm will be keeping 30% for itself. This rule applies from the moment you are formally notified, and it applies to any pending payouts that have not been processed yet. It stays in place for the entire duration of your funded account.

-Overall: Support at SabioTrade is responsive and direct, with the Discord community manager handling and providing responses on time( Screenshot attached) – however, the email support wasn’t that great, as I was getting slow responses.
-Key Finding: Support operates through async channels like Discord live chat, Telegram, email, WhatsApp, and live chat. One thing worth knowing is that live chat and WhatsApp are only available inside the trade room after login.
-Key Limitation: Email responses were pretty slow during testing, which could be a problem for anything time-sensitive. Live chat and WhatsApp are only available inside the Trade Room once you log in, as these are not available on the public website.
–Best For: Traders who are comfortable with the Discord community, because that’s where we get most of our answers from

To give you the best overview of customer support, I sent many queries across Discord, live chat, and email. Discord was decent, and responses were reasonably quick during active hours, though I got contradictory responses on the same question across email and Discord. Email was a different story. The response time was taking a couple of hours, which is not satisfactory for anything time-sensitive. More importantly, the email response directly contradicted information stated on the official website. The support email confirmed that the consistency rule is only applied at the evaluation stage, whereas the website’s written rules do not make this distinction as clear. There is no live chat on the public website, but once you are inside the Trade Room, live chat and WhatsApp are available, which does help during active trading sessions. I tested their live chat by asking technical questions about trading rules, responses were good and fast, as I received the response within one to two minutes.
If there’s one thing that really differentiates SabioTrade from other prop firms is the comprehensive education guide, which goes further than most prop firms on the educational side. The Sabio Academy is integrated directly into all plans and includes structured courses, webinars, trade analysis, mentorship sessions, podcasts, articles, and weekly market analytics. The PRO Club extends this further with dedicated mentors, live webinars, special strategies, and a trading community available on 3-month and 12-month subscription tiers. For traders who want to develop their skills alongside the evaluation rather than simply chase a pass, SabioTrade’s educational infrastructure is one of the more comprehensive offerings in the prop firm space.
I think SabioTrade is not like a typical prop firm, as education is at the core of everything they do. The Sabio Academy, PRO Club mentorship, webinars, and structured courses are built into the platform itself. If you are a beginner who wants to actually improve while going through the evaluation, this is one of the few prop firms that genuinely supports that.
Another great advantage for traders is the variety of challenges they offer. The challenge offering covers three distinct categories. Tariff plans up to $1M, PRO packages for bundled multi-account access, and dedicated Day Trading accounts with 1:100 leverage. That range means SabioTrade works for different trader profiles, from beginners using the Essential plan to experienced intraday traders going for the Apex account, but as all the challenges are 1-step so some traders might feel restricted as they can’t have conventional 2 step or instant accounts.
On the cost side, spreads are competitive on crypto and forex but run wider on commodities and metals, so what you actually pay depends on what you trade. At SabioTrade they only offer their proprietary platform (Quadcode-powered trading platform); there is no MT4 or MT5, which takes some getting used to, but it is well-equipped with 100+ indicators, news feeds, and earnings calendars once you get familiar with it. With 288+ instruments, including ETFs, the instrument range is broader than most competing firms.
The payout structure works differently from most CFD firms. After your first payout, the drawdown floor locks permanently at your initial balance, which is worth understanding before you start. Profit splits run from 80% on entry-level tariff plans up to 95% on the Apex Day Trading account, starting from the very first payout with no scaling required.
