As well, LFS utilizes the most advanced trading technology and employs the latest and greatest high-level security protocols and practices.

Trading Platforms

FHBC features not one, but two highly sophisticated trading platforms. The trading platforms offered are the ever popular MetaTrader 4 (MT4) platform and their very own proprietary FHBC Activ8 platform. See these two trading platforms reviewed below.

MetaTrader 4 (MT4)

The MT4 trading platform by FHBC allows traders to participate in the trading of all financial markets including forex, CFDs, and futures trading. The platform features many tools and features an active trader needs to trade, including multiple order types, advanced charting and analysis options, automated trading, and more. The platform’s interface is intuitively designed and familiar to traders as the MT4 platform is the most popular trading platform in the world.

Activ8

The Activ8 trading platform is entirely web-based and can be accessed from the web browser on any computer, anywhere. Acitiv8’s trading interface is very engaging and easy to use which provides for a seamless trading experience. The platform is accommodating all types of traders by providing an array of tools and features that are easily managed. Traders have access to a wide range of technical indicators, charting tools and features, market insight tools, live news streams, an economic calendar, and much more.

FHBC Mobile Trading

FHBC provides their traders with an exclusive mobile trading application that’s available for free download from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store for iOS and Android mobile devices. The platform is called “Activ8”  Mobile Trader and is the perfect platform for trading on the go. Traders have access to all of the same tools and features are seen in the Activ8 trading platform, only they have been optimized for the mobile screen.

Account Types

FHBC does their best to accommodate all types of traders and does this by offering their clients six different types of accounts to choose from being either a Basic, Plus, Gold, Platinum, Pro, Black account. Generally, different account types offer varying trading conditions and benefits. One of the main differences is the minimum deposit required with a minimum deposit of 200 EUR for the Basic account, a minimum deposit of 1,000 EUR for the Plus account, a minimum deposit of 10,000 EUR for the Gold account, a minimum deposit of 25,000 for the Platinum account, a minimum of 100,000 for the Pro account and a minimum deposit of 1 Yard EUR for the Black account.  All account types feature zero commissions and tight spreads as low as 1 pip on major currency pairs. Trading on the leverage of 1:30 (it varies per instrument according to ESMA regulation) is available on all account types and higher leverage will be granted upon account review and only upon request for recategorization as professional clients.

Commissions & Spreads

The FHBC online trading brokerages charge their fees via the spread on each trade. They do this by embedding a markup in the spread, which is the difference between the bid price and the asking price. All trades benefit from zero commissions and spreads can be as low as 1 pip on some major currency pairs. As for the fees regarding tradeable instruments other than forex, not much is known. FHBC is lacking a great deal of information and transparency when it comes to their tradeable products offered and associated fees.

Deposits & Withdrawals Options

FHBC clients can deposit and withdraw via various methods including bank transfer, Swift, E-wallet, debit/credit card or any other method of electronic money transfer (where the originator is the client) acceptable by LFS from time to time. As well, upon withdrawing funds from an account, the client must use the same method as used for depositing funds.

All clients must submit all KYC documents and information before proceeding with a deposit or withdrawal. Clients can make deposits at any time and withdrawals can be made upon filling out a withdrawal request form. The client will incur all of the associated withdrawal and currency conversion fees (where applicable). The currencies which can be deposited and withdrawn include the Euro (EUR), Great Britain Pounds (GBP), the United States Dollar (USD) and the Swiss Franc (CHF).

Customer Support

One good thing about the support is that customers can contact support via a variety of methods including telephone, email, fax, and live chat. Support representatives are available from 9:00-17:00 (GMT), Monday-Friday.
