A missing layer, not a missing feature Blockchains natively prove execution, timestamps, hashes, transfers. They cannot independently prove that the actor held the correct, unexpired role at the exact moment of execution. Most systems record actions. Very few record whether the actor had authority. That gap matters in any workflow where approvals, certifications, or regulated decisions carry downstream consequence.
