US stock markets initially tried to rally during the day on Wednesday, but then pulled back. However, later in the day it looks as if we are finding buyers, and therefore I think we continue the same usual “buy the dips” attitude that we have seen for some time. The shrinking US dollar helps with exports, so that should continue to push the market to the upside.

Dow Jones 30

The Dow Jones 30 initially rally during the trading session on Wednesday, reaching towards the 26,400 level before finding resistance. We pulled back but found enough support at the 26,200 region to find buyers and we then turned around after the Americans took over the market. I believe that the market should continue to go higher, reaching towards the 26,400 level, and then beyond. I like this market, and I believe that we will continue to see people looking for value, and of course looking to put money to work.

NASDAQ 100

The NASDAQ 100 initially drifted higher as well, reaching towards the vital 7000 handle. That’s an area that will be important due to the large, round, psychological nature of the number. We pulled back a bit, reaching down to the 6875 handle. The market should continue to find buyers underneath, so therefore I think it’s only a matter of time before I reach towards the 7000 handle, perhaps even breaking above there. I like buying these dips, they give us an opportunity to pick up value in a market that should lead the way for the rest of the American indices. Once we break the 7000 handle, the market should go much higher, which is exactly what I expect to see over the next several weeks. Selling isn’t a thought.
