The NZD/USD pair fell during most of the previous week, but we did get a little bit of support at the 0.82 level. This market currently looks like it’s struggling to break out of the consolidation area between 0.80 and 0.83 as the choppiness has shown. This pair is obviously a risk sensitive currency pair, and as such we think that headlines will continue to get around. All things being equal though, we still believe in the strength of this pair overall and although it is not one of our favorite ones to be long of, we certainly wouldn’t short it.
