Oracle surges after strong AI and cloud growth, while AMD targets further upside and Nvidia holds key $215 support as tech stocks gain momentum.

Oracle Technical Analysis

Oracle looks absolutely explosive in pre-market trading after the earnings call really got traders excited. After the close yesterday, its bet on data center buildout is really starting to pay off. Q1 revenue is $19.3 billion, up 30% year over year. Cloud revenue is $11.6 billion, up 62% year over year. OCI infrastructure revenue is $7.4 billion, up 121%.

Oracle has also booked another $30 billion of additional AI and cloud contracts. So, a very rosy picture for Oracle here. You can see that we are jumping over the gap from yesterday and opening up, threatening the 200-day EMA. Oracle looks really strong in pre-market at this point.

AMD Technical Analysis

Over in AMD, it looks like we are going to open a little bit positive as market participants continue to try to push AMD far past the $500 level. The $450 double bottom that I talked about previously, a few sessions back, seems to have held quite nicely. Now it looks like AMD is trying to make a little bit of a move.

It gave back some of the gains yesterday, and that makes sense. There is the three white soldiers pattern, or three green soldiers, that suggests there is more upward momentum as well. So, we’ll just have to wait and see how that plays out.

Nvidia Technical Analysis

Daily price chart for NVDA showing price stabilizing around 219.82 pre-market, bouncing off the 215.00 support level and the 50 EMA (214.81) above the 200 EMA (198.44). Source: TradingView

NVIDIA looks like it is going to try to turn things around, as there is no real NVIDIA-specific situation out there. Other than rates in America rising, there really has not been much in the way of bad news. It’s probably more of a valuation picture here.

The $215 level is acting as support, with the 50-day EMA right there, so it might be worth watching. A rally from here would just be a continuation of this grinding and chomping, almost channel, that we are trying to form.

Either way, NVIDIA looks positive. It looks like the whole sector is doing fairly well, the whole artificial intelligence buildout sector. So, of course, NVIDIA being one of the biggest names in that sector, it is not surprising that people would be running to it.
