The 10-year yield in the United States is breaking to higher levels again.

Gold market pressure builds as fiscal deficits, heavy Treasury issuance and oil risk keep long yields elevated despite weaker jobs and contained inflation.

Natural gas is slightly positive early on Tuesday, as we have bounced from the bottom of the recent trading range. That being said, there are still seasonal headwinds to face at this point in time.

Crude oil continues to move on each headline as the Middle East is still front and center as far as global concerns rank, with rates continuing to be an issue as well.

Gold pulls back from major resistance barrier on Tuesday, as we continue to see a lot of interest rate noise as well.

Rising interest rates continue to be a factor in trading currencies at the moment, with US rates being in focus.

Crude oil prices stay firm as stalled U.S.-Iran diplomacy, single-digit Hormuz traffic and a record $102 diesel crack rebuild the supply-risk premium.

Gold remains supported by China’s central bank buying and Japan’s bond-market stress, while a break above $4,500 could open the way toward $5,000.

The U.S. 10-year yield initially fell in early market trading, but has risen again, showing a potentially choppy setup.
