The US 10-year yield looks as if it is bouncing again, and the energy markets are heating up.

Natural gas futures fell after a one-day rally failed, with record production and a storage surplus pressuring buyers before a 15 Bcf EIA storage estimate.

The premarket trading in technology stocks is navigating geopolitical issues and interest rates rising, while earnings season continues.

US indices are fairly quiet in pre-market trading on Thursday, as we are navigating several things at once.

The US dollar is very mixed in early trading on Thursday.

Gold prices fell after profit-taking and recovering Treasury yields erased part of Wednesday’s 4% rally. Fed minutes keep another rate hike in play.

Oil prices hit three-week highs as weak Hormuz traffic, deadlocked talks and tighter distillate supplies keep buyers in control of WTI and Brent.

Gold and silver prices have rebounded as Treasury yields and the U.S. dollar weaken, but Fed rate risks and key technical levels may determine whether the rally continues.

Elevated Treasury yields keep the dollar in focus as USD/CAD consolidates, EUR/USD reaches a key inflection point, and platinum rebounds.
