The S&P 500 initially fell at the open during US trading on Thursday, but you can see that the buyers came back. I think that eventually we will break above the 2500 level, and between now and then we will see short-term pullbacks offering value the traders are willing to take advantage of. I don’t have any interest in shorting, and even if we did breakdown significantly, I think that there is plenty of support near the 2490 level to turn things around. Pullbacks are buying opportunities, and a break above the 2500 level is most certainly going to continue the longer-term uptrend.
