The USD/JPY pair fell rather significantly during the session on Tuesday as the North Koreans launched a missile over the coast of Japan. Ultimately, we are finding support at the 108.50 region, and therefore I think we are trying to stay in the overall consolidated barrier that we have been in for some time. Because of this, I think that buyers will be attracted to this market. However, if we make a “lower low”, it’s likely that the market then drops down to the 105 handle. Ultimately, this is a market that should continue to be volatile but there is significant support just below.
