The annual inflation rate in Armenia slowed to 3.4% in July 2025 from 3.9% in the previous month. This marked the lowest reading since April, as prices moderated for food and non-alcoholic beverages (4.7% vs 6.2% in June) and housing & utilities (0.8% vs 1.2%). Additionally, costs continued to decline for communication (-0.4% vs -0.5%), while clothing and footwear remained steady (at -2%). On the other hand, inflation increased for alcoholic beverages and tobacco (6.7% vs 6.2%), health (3.8% vs 3.6%), and transport (7.2% 6%). On a monthly basis, consumer prices decreased by 0.8% in July, easing from a 1.3% drop in the preceding period.
