Industrial production in Greece fell by 0.1% year-on-year in February 2025, following an upwardly revised 2.7% rise in the previous month. This marked the first decline in industrial activity since October 2024, as output decreased for electricity supply (-5.2% vs 4.3% in January). Additionally, production slowed for manufacturing (0.9% vs 2.3%) and water supply (2.2% vs 4.3%). Meanwhile, output rebounded for mining and quarrying (4.5% vs -3.6%). On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, industrial activity dropped by 3.3% in February, slipping further from a 0.3% decline in the preceding period.
