The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate in Greece increased to 9% in March 2025, from 8.6% in the previous month, which was the lowest level since December 2008. The number of unemployed individuals climbed by 20.9 thousand from a month earlier to 424.6 thousand. Meanwhile, employment dropped by 29.6 thousand to 4.28 million. Additionally, the number of people outside the labor force rose by 6.3 thousand to 3.053 million.
