The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate in Greece stood at 8.2% in September 2025, unchanged from the revised figure in the previous month. This remained the lowest level since November 2008, as the number of unemployed individuals fell by 4 thousand from a month earlier to 385.8 thousand. Unemployment among women was significantly higher than among men, at 10.9% compared with 6%. Meanwhile, employment declined by 23.6 thousand to 4.3 million. The number of people outside the labor force increased by 21.6 thousand to 3.025 million.
