Latest Updates
The annual inflation rate in Moldova stood at 7% in November 2025, unchanged from the previous month. Food price growth eased to 6.3% from 6.8% in October, mainly due to slower increases in the prices of meat, meat preparations and preserves, legumes, and vegetable oil. In contrast, prices rose at a faster pace for non-food products (2.68% vs 2.45%), primarily driven by a rebound in fuel prices. Inflation in services also accelerated to 14.19% from 13.76%, largely reflecting higher costs for communal housing services and public catering. On a monthly basis, consumer prices increased 0.3%, down from 0.6% in October 2025.
