House prices in Norway fell by 0.2% month-on-month in April 2025, reversing a 0.1% increase in the previous month. This marked the first drop in house price following eight consecutive months of growth. The average price for a home in Norway was NOK 4,873,834 at the end of April. Among regions, the strongest price development was recorded in Porsgrunn/Skien (1%) while the weakest one was seen in Asker/Bærum (-1%). The average time to sell a home was 47 days in April, down from 50 days in the prior month. Bergen had the shortest selling period at 16 days, while Fredrikstad/Sarpsborg and Ålesund and the surrounding area recorded the longest at 72 days. On a yearly basis, house prices rose by 5.9%.
