Daily Economic Calendar

The economic agenda for the day begins with the Australian Q4 capital expenditure which came in at a much lesser than expected value. Then we move on to the London session where we have the Q4 GDP Final estimate which is expected to come in at 0.4% QoQ showing that the growth continues in Germany. Then we have the GFK consumer confidence data from Germany and the January Business Confidence from France.

From the UK, we have the Business investment data along with the CBI distributive trends. Moving on to the US, we have the initial jobless claims and also the important oil inventory data which has been showing a build up in recent times but remains to be seen whether that continues today as well.
