Latest Updates
The annual inflation rate in Angola fell further to hit 19.73% in June 2025, the lowest since November 2023, extending the downward trend that began in August 2024. The stabilization of the kwanza, along with improved goods availability, has played a key role in easing inflationary pressures. On a monthly basis, consumer prices rose 1.21% in June, up slightly from May’s 1.17% increase, driven mainly by higher costs for housing and utilities (3.33%) and miscellaneous goods and services (1.56%).
