Latest Updates
The annual inflation rate in Belarus accelerated to 7.4% year-on-year in July 2025, marking the highest level since February 2023 and up slightly from 7.3% in the previous month. The uptick was primarily driven by higher prices in the services sector, which increased 7.6% year-on-year, up from 7.1% in June. Food prices also saw a modest rise, increasing marginally to 10.6% from 10.5%. Offsetting some of the upward pressure, inflation for non-food goods eased to 3.0% from 3.2%. On a monthly basis, consumer prices rose 0.2% in July, slowing from a 0.9% increase in June.
