The Czech unemployment rate stood at 4.5% in September 2025, unchanged from the previous month and remaining at its highest level since March 2017, in line with market forecasts. The number of unemployed persons rose by 4,301 month-on-month to 333,925 and was up by 47,020 compared to the same month last year. Meanwhile, the number of job vacancies increased by 649 from the previous month to 95,766, but was 168,888 lower than in September last year.
