U.S. business inventories rose 0.2% month-over-month in February 2025, following a 0.3% increase in January, in line with market expectations. This marked the second consecutive monthly rise, mainly driven by a 0.3% gain in wholesale inventories. Meanwhile, stocks grew only slightly for retailers and manufacturers, both up 0.1%. On an annual basis, business inventories rose by 2.1%.
