Crude oil inventories in the US rose by 5.202 million barrels in the week ending October 31, the most since July 25 and more than market expectations of a 0.6-million increase. At the Cushing, Oklahoma delivery hub, crude stocks rose by 0.3 million barrels. Among refined fuels, gasoline stocks dropped by 4.73 million barrels and stocks of distillate fuels dropped by 0.643 million barrels.
